P. Justin “P.J.” Pearlstone is a Senior Vice President - Wealth Management and Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services Inc. in Baltimore. Since 2010, he has advised high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, and family offices on the investment, planning, and wealth transfer issues that come with significant wealth. He joined UBS in 2012.
P.J. works with clients whose needs often extend beyond portfolio management. He advises on concentrated positions, tax-aware investment strategy, lending, philanthropy, and multigenerational planning, with a focus on helping clients make sound decisions over time and in the context of their overall financial circumstances.
He develops customized strategies based on each client’s objectives, risk tolerance, and balance sheet, with access to UBS resources across traditional investments, alternative investments, private market investments, structured solutions, and lending. He also works closely with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to help align investment decisions with estate, tax, and legacy planning.
P.J. also helps clients prepare for important transitions, including business sales, liquidity events, charitable giving, and the transfer of wealth across generations. He aims to bring clarity, judgment, and long-term perspective to complex situations.
He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, along with insurance licenses for life, health, long-term care, and variable annuities.
A Baltimore native, P.J. graduated from The Park School and earned his degree in finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He lives in Baltimore with his wife, Karen, their two sons, Zach and Jordan, and their dog, Bentley.
He is deeply involved in the Baltimore community and recently completed a two-year tenure as Campaign Chair for The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Associated and The Associated Jewish Charities of Baltimore, and on the investment committees of The Associated and The Park School of Baltimore. His past leadership roles include President of The Pearlstone Center and board service at Sinai Hospital, the JCC of Greater Baltimore, and Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School.
