Peter's lifetime fascination with the markets was inspired by the generations that preceded him. His grandfather was as stockbroker for his entire career and his stepfather was a partner in a wall street firm, F.I. DuPont, which was bought by E.F Hutton. Peter began investing in his early high school years and began his career in financial services at E.F. Hutton. He joined UBS in 2009 and have over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
In addition to his experience, Peter's willingness to get to know his clients, help them identify their goals, discuss the risks and rewards inherent in the markets and to create an investment program to help them achieve their goals sets him apart from other advisors. His clients are primarily affluent individuals and small business owners.
Peter is an avid, lifelong hang glider. He has been actively involved in coaching children's ice hockey for 15 years and has run a men's league for 20 years. He is also an active bicyclist, tennis player, golfer and hiker. Peter is a member of the board of a small cranberry growing company which is a member of the Ocean Spray Cranberry cooperative. He and his wife, Amy have a son, Alex who is an avid snowboarder and a daughter, Liza, who plays ice hockey for Utica College. Peter earned a B.A. in Spanish with minors in economics and English Literature from the University of Vermont in Burlington.
