Peter Maroney is a Portfolio Manager with UBS in New York and member of the UBS Advisor Allocation Program (AAP), a select group of advisors who undergo a rigorous screening process to manage discretionary client investment portfolios.
After more than a decade of national political experience at the most senior levels, including serving as National Finance Chairman for John Kerry’s presidential campaign at the Democratic National Committee, Peter has spent the last 17 years in the financial services industry in strategic and advisory roles.
In his role as an investment advisor, he works closely with entrepreneurs, attorneys, entertainers, professional athletes, family offices and foundations to understand their investment needs, their goals and their values.
Peter's investment process reflects a deep understanding of equities, fixed income and alternative assets gained while working for over a decade in the private equity and hedge fund industries. Peter draws from these unique experiences, and from an extensive national network, to provide a comprehensive financial plan. He holds series 66, 7 and 31 securities licenses.
In addition to his career in financial services, Peter provides assistance to the homeless in New York City through his volunteer efforts for New York Cares, a local non-profit, and also serves on the advisory boards of The Common Good and Run For America.
