Peter J. Alexopoulos joined UBS Financial Services Inc. as a Senior Vice President - Wealth Management in October of 2008. In 2013, Peter formed the Verus Wealth Management Group which manages in excess of $700 million of client assets as of December 2024. Peter focuses on delivering highly customized solutions to individuals, families and small to medium-sized businesses. Peter is passionate about his clients' success, understanding of their needs, and strives to provide the highest level of customer service.
Peter has over twenty years of experience as a financial advisor. Previous to UBS Financial Service Inc., Peter held responsibilities with Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management division in Springfield, Massachusetts as a First Vice President Wealth Advisor. Peter’s extensive training with Morgan Stanley further enhanced his ability to meet the needs of the most demanding client. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Peter worked for Fidelity Investments in West Hartford, Connecticut as a Senior Financial Representative. Working primarily with Fidelity’s Higher Net Worth clients, Peter advised regarding areas of portfolio analysis and construction, risk management, gifting, retirement, and college planning strategies.
Peter is a graduate with Summa Cum Laude honors from Western New England College where he studied Finance and Economics. As of February 24, 2009, Peter obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63 and 65 licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses (including California insurance license 0E29938).
Peter and his wife Susan live in Longmeadow, Massachusetts with their four children, Catalyna, John, Natalya and Isabella. In his free time, he enjoys day trips and outdoor activities with his family.
