Angela specializes in developing comprehensive wealth management plans, which includes creating and managing investment portfolios based on client objectives, as well as developing retirement, financial, and wealth-preservation estate planning strategies for individuals, families, and business owners.
Angela has 23 years of experience in the financial industry beginning at Smith Barney. Additionally, she earned the designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM. She graduated cum laude from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. She is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. Angela holds a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University.
Angela has served on several community and charitable boards over the years, including The Georgia Tech Parent Advisory Board, The Georgia Tech Women in Engineering Advisory Board, The Elaine Clark Center for Disabled Children, The Justice Center of Atlanta, and Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. She loves playing the acoustic guitar, painting, and boating. Angela, her husband, and two daughters live in Sandy Springs, GA.
Mark brings a wealth of experience to Paragon Wealth Management. He provides personal service to the group's individual and corporate clients with emphasis in areas such as developing asset allocation strategies and implementing them through the selection and monitoring of appropriate money managers. In the corporate arena, Mark has worked with executives designing retirement plans and assisting in stock options and corporate banking.
Mark has over 33 years of experience as a financial advisor beginning at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, predecessor to Smith Barney. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and earned a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University. Prior to entering the financial services field, Mark worked for seven years with an international environmental engineering consulting firm. Since joining UBS, Mark completed a comprehensive training program and has earned his UBS Wealth Advisor certification. Mark has served on several community and charitable boards, including the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Jewish Family & Career Services. His favorite extracurricular activities include cycling, canoeing, and tennis. Mark lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife and two daughters.
Richard offers portfolio management to the group's clients. He earned his CFA® Charter in 1990, a credential that is the most respected and recognized investment designation in the world. His investment philosophy is in large part based upon the academic research published by the CFA Institute, in particular, the research supporting the "Momentum" factor. Richard manages several portfolios that are proprietary to the Spiegel Calvin Group. In every case, the strategy selected is applied in a manner that seeks to meet each investor's own unique attitudes toward risk and reward.
Richard has 38 years of experience in the financial services industry after a seven year career in corporate banking. His investment career began in 1979 at E.F. Hutton. He joined UBS in 2009. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. Richard is a strong devotee of the CFA®'s rigorous Code of Ethics, and its Asset Managers Code of Conduct; he must attest annually to upholding the institute's Code of Ethics.
In addition to the CFA® Institute, Richard is a member of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals (http://asfip.org), and an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Richard enjoys classical music, guitar, reading, and gardening. He and his wife, Lori, reside in Roswell, GA.
Holly joined the team in early 2015 and serves as the team administrator. She is a registered client service associate with of 12 years of experience and holds her Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
Holly earned a bachelor's degree from Georgia College & State University. She began her career at A.G.
