When you reach a certain level of success, your financial situation can start to feel complicated and unwieldy. Every decision can seem momentous, and the path forward may be unclear.
It does not have to be that way. We are a team of experienced financial advisors with the skill—and empathy—you need to streamline your financial life. Over our decades in the business, we have found that the most straightforward options can be the most effective.
We advise wealthy families and individuals directly, or in close collaboration with their business managers. Clients tell us that our ability to distill financial planning and investing down to simple decisions sets us apart. We can evaluate your plan and portfolio to determine whether adjustments might be in order. And if the right thing to do is to do nothing, we will tell you that, too.
Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their simplification.
Our mission is to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. Our goal is to be your primary source of financial advice. To this end, we concentrate our efforts on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
After graduating from UCLA in 1986 with a BA in economics, David joined one of the country's largest accounting firms, Deloitte Haskins and Sells. After earning his CPA designation as an auditor and tax specialist, he spent the next two decades building a career as a family office CEO and business manager focusing on high net worth individuals and families in the media and entertainment fields. In both roles, David managed all aspects of his clients' financial lives including estate, tax, insurance, philanthropy and investment planning, as well as real estate development, and property management.
In 2000, David pivoted to focus exclusively on investment advice and financial management, and joined JP Morgan. After 15 years, he and his team moved to UBS and formed Palisades Advisors. As a founding partner, Senior Portfolio Manager, and chief strategist, he is responsible for developing all of the team's investment platforms.
For over 20 years, David has been passionately involved in animal rescue and animal welfare causes. In 2008, he formed Used Pets, a 501(c)(3) public charity which helps fund a foster network that provides care and safe homes for rescued dogs. He is also a founding board member of the Best Friends Animal Society’s "No Kill LA" initiative, a PETA Vanguard Director's Circle Member, and an active voice and donor to Wags And Walks. In addition to his work with animals, David is part of a Veteran's mentoring program through American Corporate Partners (ACP) where active service members and veterans connect with business leaders who assist them with career exploration, work life balance issues, and networking opportunities.
David lives in Pacific Palisades and Newport Beach with his five very happy rescue dogs and, if there's room, his wife Molly.

Todd also serves as the team's lending specialist, assisting clients with residential and commercial mortgage needs, as well as security based lending and margin loans. Todd has earned his insurance license and helps clients obtain life insurance and long-term care coverage.
