Prior to joining UBS in 2008, Ann practiced law with the law firm of Levin, Schreder & Carey, focusing on estate tax and income tax planning for ultra high net worth individuals, families and business owners.

      Christine Cronin leads the Tailored Lending Team, East team and focuses on marketing and structuring of tailored lending solutions for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.


      Professional History

      Christine is a Managing Director within the Tailored Lending Unit within Global Wealth Management reporting to Anthony D'Andrea where she partners with Steve Marotta in developing the tailored lending business. Christine has in excess of 22 years of experience in the financial services of which 21 were spent in the private bank lending business. Christine joined UBS from Credit Suisse where she served as a Regional Lending Specialist for 5 ½ years. Prior to Credit Suisse she held roles within the Private Bank at Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Deutsche Bank.
       

      Education

      Christine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics-Finance from Bentley University and her MBA in Investment Management from Pace University.

      David serves as a Senior Wealth Strategist in Private Wealth, splitting his time between New York and Stamford. David focuses on comprehensive strategies to assist UBS clients with their complex financial needs such as preservation, transfer and management of wealth. He serves as an internal resource for UBS clients on all issues related to tax, estate planning, philanthropy, family business succession and wealth planning.

      Education
      After receiving a B.A. from Trinity College, David continued to earn a J.D. from Fordham Law School and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University.

      Professional History

      Prior to joining UBS, David worked at Wiggin and Dana where he was a partner in the Private Client Services Department focusing on the representation of wealthy individuals and families, along with business succession and charitable planning. Prior to Wiggin and Dana, he was a partner in the Private Clients Group at Cummings & Lockwood.

      Affiliations

      David is on the advisory boards of the Central Park Conservancy, the Fairfield County Community Foundation and AmeriCares, as well as a former member of the Estates and Gifts Committee of the New York City Bar.

      Publications and Speeches

      David has authored over one hundred articles on charitable, estate and tax planning and given several hundred lectures and webinars to lawyer and non-lawyer audiences throughout the United States. He serves as the Chairperson of the Family Business Committee for Trusts and Estates Magazine and was previously the Chairperson of the Charitable Giving Committee for Trusts and Estates Magazine for eight years. While practicing, he was listed in The Best Lawyers in America for two practice areas – Trusts and Estates and Charities/Non-Profits, as well as Connecticut Super Lawyers.

      Brian Formento is an Executive Director and Head of Client Solutions and Investment Strategy in Family Office Solutions (FOS). Brian works with Advisors to deliver customized advice to clients of substantial financial wealth and coordinates cross-divisional coverage to ensure UHNW clients and family offices are properly covered by a team comprising relevant FOS specialists.

      He also remains a member of the Portfolio Advisory Group specializing in asset allocation and portfolio construction advice for the family office segment, defining risk-based strategies and developing customized investment ideas for the largest clients at UBS. Brian previously was a key member of the Private Wealth Management Alternatives Advisory Board and Private Wealth Management Family Office Strategy Team.

      Prior to UBS, Brian was a Managing Director and senior investment strategist for OTC derivatives and alternatives at Deutsche Bank. He also held senior positions at several private investment advisory firms and was head of proprietary fixed income trading North America and desk head of the primary dealer at Paribas Capital Markets, now BNP Paribas.


      Brian graduated magna cum laude and with distinction, receiving a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Boston University. He is a past chair and member of the Economic Department's Board of Advisors for the college and graduate school. Brian, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) is a member of the Structured Products Association (SPA) and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRIMA). More recently, Brian has been an industry contributor to curriculum development for the CFA program and has completed Wharton's Private Wealth Executive Education Program and Columbia University’s Earth Institute Investment Academy on Sustainability. He is a trustee for Historic Morven in Princeton, New Jersey. He currently holds the following registrations: 7,24,3,63,66,55, and Life and Health Insurance.
