My passion is the financial industry and I try to be better every year at what I do and adapt to our changing environment. I always have welcomed being in the forefront of women's advancement in the field of financial advising. My clients span three generations and some four, as I work to achieve above average investment return with a focus on wealth management. Many of my clients have been with me for over twenty five years. My global travels provide me with a special perspective on an international scale.
EXPERIENCE TO GUIDE YOU FORWARD
Most of my clients prefer to build portfolios of individual stock across sectors, following recommended percentage weightings in each issue as well as sectors. A client's age and risk tolerance is carefully considered in my recommendations. Ideas are garnered from our two research departments – Wealth Management and Institutional/Investment Banking as well as other outside research ideas. A laddered approach to municipal or taxable bonds is followed. A client's portfolio and performance are carefully monitored on a quarterly or more frequent basis. Also, for further diversification of investments, or client preference, I offer a choice of managed discretionary advisory programs. Additionally, I encourage financial goal analysis plans directed at liquidity, longevity, and legacy.
In his role as the team’s Senior Client Service Associate, Connor brings over five years of industry experience as well as a high level of precision, professionalism, and care in serving the team. With his wide range of knowledge regarding financial services, he communicates regularly with clients to answer questions and address needs. He enjoys building strong relationships with clients and their families and helping them feel comfortable and understood.
Connor graduated from Cedarville University where he obtained his B.A. in Business Administration and Management. He began his career with UBS as a Client Service Associate in 2018. He currently holds FINRA Series 7 and NASAA 66 licenses and is a central part of making sure that clients are served quickly, well, and with integrity.
Connor and his wife, Chloe, reside in the Akron-Canton area with their two children. Outside of the office he enjoys reading, cooking, watching films, and making music in his home studio.
John has enjoyed a long career in the financial industry spending many years in branch office management roles. He joined UBS in 2008 and has managed UBS branch offices in Akron, Pepper Pike and downtown Cleveland. Before UBS, during his 26 years with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firm Dean Witter, John served in branch management roles in Ohio and Michigan. John also held positions in product and services marketing management at Morgan Stanley’s corporate office in New York City. John’s long tenure in branch management allowed him to oversee great wealth management practices by experienced financial advisors. John has extensive knowledge of UBS investment solutions and services and holds the Portfolio Manager designation. John is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a B.S in Business degree. As a resident of Shaker Heights, Ohio John values spending time and travelling with his wife Traci and their two adult children. Outside of work John enjoys golf, running, hiking, movies and is a devoted fan of Cleveland area professional sports teams.
Loran provides innovative and thoughtful financial solutions to a select group of successful individuals, families and business owners. She has spent her entire career at UBS and is dedicated to building close relationships with the team’s roster of clients with advice that goes beyond investments to impact all aspects of their financial—and often personal—lives. Loran prides herself on being part of a client’s important life decisions and draws on her experience, and that of her entire team and the firm at large, to provide tailored advice and strategies that will move them towards their goals. The relationships Loran has fostered with her clients are built on trust, mutual respect and a genuine connection. As part of a particularly close-knit team, Loran finds her work both positive and fulfilling.
