Having been a principal financial advisor to high and ultra-high net worth families for more than 33 years, Doug LaBossiere recognizes that no two families have the same needs, resources or missions. That's why he listens intently to gain a thorough understanding of each client's unique needs. From there, Doug and his team at MultiGenerational Wealth Management leverage their extensive knowledge and the vast, global resources of UBS to deliver sophisticated wealth strategies, bespoke financial advice and best-in-class investment management.
Prior to beginning his investment advisory career at a predecessor to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 1985, Doug was a successful senior financial executive responsible for audit, control and treasury functions at private and public companies. He holds a Bachelor's of Commerce in finance from Concordia University and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Doug is active with the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Washington, DC and the Washington Association of Money Managers.
Doug serves as a board member for multiple not-for-profit organizations. He has also worked with local, regional and federal agencies to promote preservation of the historic properties of our nation’s capital. Doug lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Gloria, and son, Alexandre. They enjoy an occasional ski break in between visits with family in Canada, Europe and South America.
Throughout her 30-year financial services career, Lydia Leftwich's goal has been to work closely with her team's clients to fully understand their financial goals and deliver personalized service and assistance in helping them achieve those goals. She strives to manage and monitor all administrative aspects of her clients' accounts by most effectively utilizing the array of UBS resources that best fit each individual's specific financial needs.
Lydia's career began in 1987 as a Sales Assistant with Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. in Los Angeles, California. She transferred to Smith Barney's Washington, DC office in 1993 and began working with Doug LaBossiere in 2011. As a Senior Client Service Associate, she and Doug joined UBS in 2013.
Lydia grew up in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and has resided in Maryland since moving to the area in 1993. She is the mother of two, and the grandmother of five. Family is her one true joy and is very important to her. After being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 39, she has made a personal committment to become an advocate for the annual Susan G. Komen breast cancer walk. She currently serves on the race committee for the DC walk and has actively been serving in that position for the past 14 years. A lover of sports, as well, football is her favorite and she will forever be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
