Jim joined UBS in 2008 after having spent the previous 11 years at another major financial services firm. An Accredited Wealth Management Advisor and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Jim holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana-Monroe and a master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. He also has Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as Texas life insurance and annuity licenses.
Active members of the community and their church, Jim and his wife, Betty, have lived in the Tyler area for more than 40 years. They have two children, Katie and Chris, a daughter-in-law Emily, and three grandchildren, Cole, Caroline, and Olivia. Their family enjoys spending time together raising and riding Tennessee Walking horses, hunting and "living life on the farm."

Katie joined UBS in 2016 after having spent the previous five years at another financial services firm. Katie holds a double major in Finance and Management from Baylor University. She also has her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as Texas life insurance and annuity licenses. In addition to offering financial planning and retirement advice, Katie is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, which better prepares her to customize client's financial plans to fit all of life's unexpected circumstances.
Katie returned home to Tyler after earning her degree from Baylor and living in the Fort Worth area working at her previous firm. She loves spending time with her nephew and two nieces, Cole, Caroline, and Olivia. She also enjoys spending time training with her dog, Baylor. Katie is a member of the Baylor Women's Network Tyler Chapter, the Junior League of Tyler, and Dayspring Methodist Church.

Candace joined UBS Financial in 2014 after spending two years in retail banking. She holds an associate's degree from Tyler Junior College, where she was a proud member of the Apache Belles, and a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Tyler. She holds both Series 7 and 66 licenses. Candace is a member of the Catholic Diocese of Tyler, the Apache Belle Alumni Organization, Junior League of Tyler, the Women's Fund of Smith County, and the Tyler Young Professionals Network.
