    Monty Cerf oversees Montclair Investment Partners. Monty is among a select group of Private Wealth Advisors who has earned the Family Office Consultant (FOC) designation. FOCs have undergone rigorous training to strengthen their knowledge and proficiency to help manage the investment, business, passion and legacy needs of sophisticated, ultra-high net worth clients and their families.

    Monty has over 35 years of experience in finance. He spent 21 years in investment and merchant banking, where, amongst other global capital market functions, he directed top ranked private equity placement groups, for both JPMorgan and Bear Stearns. Then transitioning from merchant banking at JP Morgan as well as at his own firm, he joined JPMorgan's Private Bank, then Lehman Brothers as an Investment Representative within the Wealth and Investment Management division, which was then acquired by Barclays. When Barclays sold that business, he and his team joined UBS Private Wealth Management in 2015.

    Monty has also served as an advisor on the Investment Committee for the State of New Jersey Investment Council overseeing its $85 billion pension portfolio. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Yale School of Management’s International Center for Finance, has guest lectured at Yale. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Montclair State University School of Business, where he also sits on the MSU Business Board of Advisors. As an outdoor enthusiast, he also serves as a board member the Cornell Outdoor Education Program. Monty also has served as a Volunteer for the Peace Corps in Africa.

    He and his wife of 35 years are empty-nesters and have three children. He is passionate about tennis, white water canoeing, travel, and books.

    Gerry delivers customized expertise to high net worth clients performing comprehensive wealth management and advanced planning to help clients achieve their goals. Drawing upon the global resources of UBS and his many years of experience, Gerry works with an integrated team of professionals focused on helping clients address their banking, investing, trust and estate, lending, and philanthropic needs and goals.

    Gerry joined UBS in 2015, after spending more than 20 years with Credit Suisse Private Banking (previously Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette), where he led a five-person team that advised ultra-high net worth individuals, families and not-for-profit organizations on all aspects of wealth management. While at Credit Suisse, Gerry was named to the Chairman’s Club in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. At UBS, Gerry earned President’s Club recognition in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Prior to joining DLJ/CS, Gerry was an equity trader with Kidder Peabody and previously taught high school history at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, CT. 


    Gerry earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from Hobart College, where he was a founding member of the rowing team. Gerry also completed the Hawaii Ironman triathlon. Gerry lives in Westport, CT with his wife and three children. He enjoys watching his children play sports and participating in athletics, including golf, swimming, biking and running. He served as a trustee of Camp Tecumseh in Center Harbor, NH for many years.

    John combines his wealth management expertise with his capital markets experience to provide comprehensive and tailored solutions that meet the financial goals of his clients.     He has over 20 years of experience in financial service industry. Prior to joining UBS Private Wealth Management, he worked in UBS's Investment Bank advising leading hedge funds, asset managers and insurance companies. Before UBS, John worked as an Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers providing financing and strategic advice to corporate clients, private equity and financial sponsors. He started his career in Merrill Lynch's Taxable Fixed Income Institutional sales group.

    John received his BA from Bates College and an MBA from Babson College. Upon graduation from Bates, he served 2 years teaching English in the Czech Republic and has carried on his interest in education by being an active Bates College alumnus and supporter of his children's school. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children and enjoys golf, skiing, running and traveling.

      Matt works closely with his clients as they seek to identify and realize their near and long term goals, combining his strong capital market and planning expertise. Matt brings over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined UBS Private Wealth Management in 2017, after spending four years at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, where he advised ultra-high net worth individuals, families, and not-for-profit organizations on all critical elements of wealth management. Prior to joining JPM Private Bank, Matt worked in institutional sales for eight years, advising some of the largest global money managers on a wide range of investments, including high-yield and investment-grade corporate debt, asset- and mortgage-backed securities, agencies and municipal bonds.

      At UBS, Matt and Montclair Investment Partners provide comprehensive wealth management services to ultra-high net worth individuals/families, family offices, and private foundations and endowments. Drawing from the global resources of UBS, Matt leads an integrated team of professionals focused on helping clients address their banking, investing, trust and estate, lending, and philanthropic objectives.

      Matt is a 2002 graduate of Middlebury College, where he played hockey and lacrosse. He was a member of 3 National Championship lacrosse teams while at the college. As a senior, Matt was named a First Team All American in both sports, and was recognized as the National Player of the Year in lacrosse. Matt lives in Chatham, NJ with his wife and four kids. He enjoys spending time with his family, hockey, and golf.

      Maryellen brings over 29 years of experience at UBS, within both Private Wealth Management and UBS Investment Bank to Montclair Investment Partners. At UBS Investment Bank, she held a variety of executive roles, including heading up a sales desk on the world's largest trading floor. Her experience with many market cycles and in depth knowledge of the capital markets, fixed income, equity and alternative investments allow her to deliver customized investment solutions to her clients.

      Maryellen has completed the firm's rigorous Private Wealth Advisor accreditation program, exemplifying her dedication to serving the complex needs of individuals and families with substantial wealth.

      She focuses on comprehensive wealth advisory, working with clients to create disciplined financial plans based on a holistic analysis of their lives, wealth and what they want to accomplish.

      Maryellen has a specialization in working with families and foundations on sustainable and impact investing; and finding solutions for women in transition, multigenerational wealth transfer, family wealth education, legacy and estate planning as well as philanthropy.

      A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Maryellen and her husband Andy reside in Connecticut and have two daughters; Emma, an attorney in Boston and Charlotte, an art director in NYC. Maryellen is passionate about yoga, travel and history.

      Throughout her career, Maryellen has sustained a commitment to local non-profit organizations, serving on the board of Norwalk Community College, and as chair of the board of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, as well as a member of Impact Fairfield County. She was one of the founding members of the UBS women's network , All Bar None, and continues to act as a mentor to many.

      Ross delivers thoughtfully tailored investment and wealth planning solutions for CEOs, entrepreneurs and professionals in financial services. Clients rely on Ross and his team to navigate the complexities of their wealth to save them time and money.

      He can appreciate the dynamics of quickly changing markets and related challenges including the workings of capital markets and public governments. After his first career in the federal government he joined Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management division in 2008 as an investment advisor and transitioned to Barclays Wealth and Investment Management division shortly after. Ross became a partner in Montclair Investment Partners in 2009 and together joined UBS Private Wealth Management in 2015.

      Prior to working in financial services, Ross’ career in government started as a Legislative Aide to a U.S. Congressman in Washington, D.C. advising on policy issues related to transportation, trade, taxes, and natural resources. While working in Washington he received a Presidential Appointment to serve as a Congressional Liaison for the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. Ross has a M.B.A., Yale School of Management, B.A., Major International Affairs, University of Colorado Boulder, Series 3, 66, 7 licenses as well as a Portfolio Manager designation.

      Ross lives in Manhattan with his wife Sam, their two daughters, and their Labrador Retriever Booker. He serves as a volunteer and mentor with American Corporate Partners' Veteran Mentoring Program and is an active alum with the Yale School of Management. Ross enjoys surfing, mountaineering, and reading political history.

      Jordan brings over 13 years of experience in providing holistic account management, portfolio expertise and attentive service to clients. Prior to joining UBS in 2015, Jordan was an Assistant Vice President in the Wealth Management division at Barclays, where he managed existing client relationships with his team and assisted with portfolio construction and trade execution. Jordan began his career at Lehman Brothers as an Operations Analyst supporting the Wealth Management division before joining Barclays in 2008. Jordan has his Series 3, 7, and 66 securities licenses and received his B.A. in Finance from the University of Florida.

      Jordan currently lives in Miami, FL with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, sports, travel and spending time with his family and friends.

        Adam is known for delivering decisive and comprehensive guidance that is vital to your life and your financial success.  Prior to joining UBS in 2015, Adam was a business analyst at Credit Suisse Private Banking, where he worked closely with his team to manage existing client relationships, focusing on investment products, strategy, and implementation. Previously, Adam worked in institutional equity sales for six years, tailoring liquidity creation and execution strategies for large global portfolio managers and traders.

        At UBS, Adam and the Montclair Investment Group provide comprehensive wealth management services to ultra-high net worth individuals/families, family offices, and private foundations and endowments.  Adam delivers resourceful strategic solutions on a variety of matters, including asset allocation, investing, lending, retirement planning, and philanthropic needs and goals. Drawing from the global resources of UBS, Adam also works to strategically develop new business opportunities.

        Adam graduated from Sacred Heart University with a degree in Finance. He lives in Maplewood, NJ with his wife and two daughters and enjoys spending time with his family, golf and fitness.

          Judy follows a disciplined wealth management process that provides analysis to understand, organize, and prioritize goals, so she can effectively communicate to clients how current decisions affect their future lifestyles and net worth.

          Judy has worked in the financial services industry since 2007. Prior to joining UBS in 2020, she was at Merrill Lynch for 4 years, working alongside senior wealth management advisors to provide financial planning expertise as it relates to education, retirement, trusts and estates, life insurance, and philanthropy. Additionally, Judy served as a relationship manager for the next generation and millennial clients. Her career began at Lehman Brothers as an Operations Analyst, followed by a Client Services Analyst role at Barclays on a senior Private Wealth Management team, where she spent 7 years. At Barclays, Judy worked with small institutions and high net worth individuals trading stocks, bonds and options in both domestic and foreign markets as well as provided the account services for a full wealth management experience.

          Judy graduated from Rutgers University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering with minor in Economics. Passionate about delivering excellent service, Judy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She enjoys discovering the latest trends in technology, health and wellness, fitness, travel, and food.

            Esther is passionate about providing clients with the highest level of proactive service. She is focused on cultivating close relationships with clients while providing operational and administrative support.

            Esther is a Client Service Associate with Montclair Investment Partners, where she helps provide comprehensive wealth management services to our clients. Prior to joining private wealth management, Esther was a Client Service Specialist at UBS, where she provided operational support to clients and Financial Advisors. She worked closely with many wealth management teams to assist with account functions, including technical support and banking services. Esther collaborated with Financial Advisors to ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues related to banking features and account management. Prior to joining UBS, Esther was a Wealth Management Advisor Intern at Cetera Investors, where she assisted with review of client portfolios, investment trends and marketing engagements.

            Esther graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. She lives in Queens, NY with her husband and son and enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

              Eli graduated from Baruch College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in December 2022.  Prior to Baruch, he received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Rockland Community College.  Eli worked as a server throughout college and most recently completed a trading internship at Gerald Group in Stamford CT.  Eli currently resides in the Upper East Side neighborhood of NYC and in his free time enjoys stand-up comedy, live music, sports, and practicing yoga.  Eli also volunteers as a member of the Young Wall Street group at the UJA Federation of New York.
