    Paul has been helping clients effectively manage their financial affairs for over 35 years. His management training at Coca Cola, coupled with his experience in accounting and cost analysis, has served as the foundation for his ability to create financial plans and strategies. Paul's wealth management process is designed to support clients' ability to attain their personal goals. Paul has undergone UBS's rigorous accreditation process to become a designated Portfolio Manager. He oversees the investment decisions for The Midtown Group and immerses himself in all aspects of his clients' lives.

      Alex began his career in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, before returning home to the Tri-State Area during the COVID-19 Pandemic. His time in The Bay Area gave Alex the unique perspective of working with business owners and alongside executives at fast-paced technology companies. During this time, he enjoyed frequent trips up to wine country.

      Within The Midtown Group, Alex focuses on the specific challenges faced by founders, executives, business owners, and affluent families. He emphasizes tax and estate planning as key components of a successful financial plan. Alex helps his clients navigate wealth enhancement, wealth preservation, inter-generational wealth transfer, and charitable giving.

      Alex underscores the importance of self-improvement and continually seeks new ways to help his clients. He has completed the rigorous coursework required to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark and has received the accreditation of Certified Exit Planning Advisor from the Exit Planning Institute. He earned his Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The University of Colorado at Boulder's Leeds School of Business.

      Alex lives in Greenwich Village in NYC with his Fiancée, Michelle and their cat, Franklin. In his spare time you can find Alex golfing, traveling, and enjoying all New York City has to offer.

          Ryan joined The Midtown Group in the Spring of 2021. He provides ongoing administrative and operational client service including new client onboarding, account maintenance and client requests. He understands that outstanding client service is key to our practice and enjoys working with our clients to ensure their needs are fulfilled in a seamless and organized manner.

          Ryan was born and raised in Westchester, New York before earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in accounting from The University of Scranton.

          In his free time, Ryan loves to travel and attend a multitude of different sporting events.

              Senior Wealth Strategist - Advanced Planning

              Introduction

              Brad works with ultra-high net worth families, helping them achieve their tax, estate planning, and philanthropic objectives. Brad focuses on developing and implementing creative and comprehensive wealth transfer strategies that align with clients' wishes. He reviews clients' tax and estate planning documents to ensure that each plan accurately and holistically reflects the family's philosophy and needs while maximizing tax efficiency.


              Professional History

              Prior to joining UBS in January 2020, Brad worked at Brown Brothers Harriman, where he advised families on their tax and estate planning objectives. Brad began his career in private legal practice, most recently at Milbank in New York City, where he practiced in the firm's trusts and estates department. Brad is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, where he teaches courses on trusts and estates.


              Education

              Brad earned a B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from Indiana University (summa cum laude), a J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was an editor of the UCLA Law Review, and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation from NYU School of Law.


              Publications, Speeches, and Media

              Brad is a frequent lecturer and author. He has published several articles on tax and estate planning in industry-leading journals, such as Journal of Taxation, Estate Planning, and Trusts & Estates Magazine. He has given dozens of lectures to lawyer and non-lawyer audiences throughout the United States, including for the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and various tax conferences. In addition, Brad is regularly quoted on tax and estate planning issues in the news media, including Bloomberg, CNBC, and Barron's.

              Structured Solutions Consultant

              Gregg serves as a Structured Solutions Consultant for the New York City and Northern New Jersey Market Areas, and Private Wealth Management; responsible for the positioning of Structured Products across all asset classes. Gregg works closely with Financial Advisors and their clients, helping them understand the risks and rewards of structured products, and how both portfolio and tactical ideas can fit into a client’s overall portfolio strategy.

              Professional History
              Gregg joined UBS in 1998 and has held a variety of positions in Capital Markets. In his previous role, he served as a Municipal Bond Portfolio Specialist on the Northeast Municipal Bond Desk. Prior to that, he worked in Unit Investment Trusts as a member of the Equity Advisory Group. He has also served as a Financial Advisor in New York City.

              Gregg holds a B.A from the University of Florida.
