Michael graduated from Louisiana State University in 1977 with a B.S. in Accounting and in 1979 with an M.S. in Finance.
He worked for Barclays American Commercial in the asset based lending/factoring business from October 1980 to April 1985, in their Credit Department and then in Business Development. From April 1985 to June 1986, he was with First City Bank – Addison, as a Vice–President, where he was involved in Commercial Lending and Business Development for the bank. In June 1986, he joined Paine Webber (subsequently bought out by UBS Group AG, in November 2000).
Michael grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and lives in Plano Texas, with his wife, Lynette, their two sons, Matthew and Andrew, and their two Golden Retrievers.
Michael's favorite hobbies are playing golf, boating, travelling and spending time with his family and their friends.
