Where are you today and where do you want to be tomorrow? We recognize that a lasting relationship starts by listening and understanding your priorities and concerns.
It’s the important things – our families, our values, the impact we have on others – that connect us. And although making sense of it all can be hard, asking the right questions can make things clearer. So when we talk to you about wealth management, we want to learn about the life questions that are on your mind.
When can I retire? Is it better to leave my kids everything? Or nothing? How do I set up a charitable fund? Will my family be ok when I’m gone?
For these and other life’s questions our team looks forward to helping you find the answers. We'll work together to look at the big picture, discuss your vision for the future, and help you confidently pursue your life goals.
Michael (Mike) understands the intricacies of Multi-Generation Family Financial Consulting. He grew up under the guidance of his father who was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, learning the importance of consulting to families, rather than just their wealth. Mike officially began his financial career in 1994 at Fidelity Investments. He then joined his father at Merrill Lynch in 1998, taking over the leadership of the Crotty Group in 2005. Mike worked at Morgan Stanley starting in 2009, then joined UBS in 2021. He enjoys helping clients set and achieve their financial goals through proper planning solutions and investment strategies.
Mike earned a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College, with undergraduate work at Oxford University. He has attended investment management classes at Harvard University and the Financial Leadership Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mike lives in Lafayette, Colorado with his wife, three children, two dogs and a cat. Together they enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and summers at the Jersey Shore.
A former collegiate athlete, Mike enjoys any competitive game, especially basketball where he wins more often than not. He’s also very adept at falling off surf boards in the summer and crossing ski tips in the winter. More recently Mike coached middle school boys’ basketball and he was the girls’ varsity high school tennis coach for his daughter’s state championship team. He is an avid reader and loves spending time with his family and friends. He is active with the Dartmouth Alumni Association and the Christian Brothers Academy Alumni Association.
