Understanding

Having long been in love with the markets and economics, Michael entered the finance
industry in the late 1990s. He first leveraged that love in an equities and derivatives
sales and trading role. From there, he went on to work for some of the largest banks
in the world, including Bank of America and J. P. Morgan, in investment and client
advisory roles. In 2022, he brought his 22 years of experience to UBS, joining The
Matthews Group as a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor.

In short, “I love serving others,” he says. “I enjoy solving the puzzle for my clients,
answering the question, ‘How do we get from point A to point B?’ We find that path,
enabling our clients to live the lives they’ve always dreamt of.”

Michael now draws on his extensive training and distinct lens on the markets in
providing the team’s wealth management clients with comprehensive services and
advice. “Our team surrounds our clients with the resources they need as they need
them,” he explains. “This includes individuals dedicated to planning, trusts and estates,
custom credit and customized portfolio management.”
