    Luke oversees the financial affairs for a select group of business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, professionals and their families around San Diego. For nearly 20 years, Luke has focused on helping clients achieve their financial goals through a comprehensive and holistic wealth management process.

    Luke has an expansive range of experience in wealth management, beginning his career at Smith Barney, he has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designations. Luke is passionate about assisting others through life's numerous financial stages; helping his clients formalize a plan for their legacy and supporting them toward the realization of their goals, through a disciplined and tested approach. Outside of the office, Luke enjoys tennis, boxing, fitness and surfing. He lives in Mission Hills with his wife Greta, children Era & Mac, and their three French Bulldogs and cat.

      Annette Farrell joined UBS in June 2015 following her move to the Inland Empire from Los Angeles. She has a 25 year career in the financial brokerage industry, where she began with the regional institutional firm of Hanifen, Imhoff Inc. while living in Denver. She has worked with municipal and institutional brokers as well as retail brokerage firms from Prudential Securities to Deutsche Bank. Annette brings a strong sense of teamwork and administrative guidance to the group and is ready to assist clients with a can-do attitude. Annette completed her degree at California State University Northridge and has her Series 7, Series 63, 66 and her CA Insurance License.

      In her free time, Annette enjoys spending time with her husband Ken, a hotrod enthusiast, as well as sailing to and from Catalina on their 42 foot sailboat docked in Marina Del Rey.

            Dani has 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a CFA charterholder.  Prior to joining UBS, Dani has worked in the areas of M&A and strategy partnerships at American Express in New York City, valuation and transaction advisory services at Ernst & Young and Deloitte in Dallas, Texas.  She has an MBA degree with a Finance concentration and an MA degree in Applied Economics, both from Southern Methodist University.  Dani completed her undergraduate studies at the American University in Bulgaria.


            Dani lives in Carmel Valley with her husband and their three very energetic kids (2 boys and a girl).  She enjoys domestic and international travel and various outdoor activities with her family.  Outside of work and family, Dani likes to figure skate and volunteer at the local school and the Bulgarian Education and Cultural Foundation in San Diego.

                Daniel Furey is an Executive Director with UBS where he oversees Alternative Investments Distribution for the Western Region.

                Professional History

                Daniel was recently a Principal at Craton Equity Partners, a late stage Venture Capital Growth Private Equity Fund focused on Cleantech-Sustainable investments. While there he was responsible for various aspects of fund operations focusing primarily on investor relations globally. Prior to that Daniel was responsible for client relationship management and business development at Strategic Value Partners (SVP), a multi-billion dollar distressed debt manager in Greenwich, Connecticut. Prior to re-joining UBS he was also a Director with Merrill Lynch’s institutional relationship management team within their Investment Bank. Daniel has also worked for the UBS Private Bank in Zurich, Switzerland as well as UBS Brinson Partners in New York & Chicago.

                Education Daniel earned a BA in Economics from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

                Casey works with high net worth clients to help develop estate plans that achieve personal goals, while simultaneously leveraging their gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax exemptions to preserve and protect family wealth. Casey also helps review clients' current estate plans and coordinates with clients' advisors to ensure each client's estate planning goals are being achieved in a tax efficient manner.

                Professional History
                Prior to joining UBS, Casey practiced law with the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Los Angeles, CA, focusing on estate and tax planning for high-net worth individuals.

                Casey received his B.A. in Political Science from UCLA, and his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law.

However, the use of strategic financing or other banking solutions may be an important component of a client’s overall wealth management plan. That’s where we come in. Senior Wealth Management Bankers are responsible for providing Financial Advisors and their clients with banking solutions that complement a client's overall wealth management objectives. As a Senior Wealth Management Banker, Kevin provides expertise in the following areas:

                James is the Head of both the Business Owners and Multigenerational Wealth Client Segments within the Strategic Client Segments team.

                James took on the Business Owners Client Segment upon its creation in 2018 to build an organization that supports business owners and the Financial Advisors that advise them. He has worked with clients on pre-business sale exit planning, such as succession planning, M&A transaction planning, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and the emotional and self-identity ramifications of exiting a business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, James and his team supported business owners in navigating pandemic programs like the Paycheck Protection Program. In 2023, James’s remit expanded to include the Multigenerational Wealth Client Segment, which includes UBS’s support of wealth transfer and transition strategies between generations and the Rising Gen. James and his team work to bring the best of UBS’s resources to these important client segments.

                James has been with UBS since 2006, previously working in the WMA Banking Group to build banking, cash and lending solutions that meet the needs of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and the Financial Advisors that support them. James has driven and executed strategies to expand securities-based lending, develop a proprietary credit card tailored to UBS's unique client base and helped to manage UBS’s deposit program, including pricing, sales, and product development programs.

                James holds a BS in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

                Outside of UBS, James is a member of the board of directors and co-treasurer for the Bronx Academy of Letters Foundation, supporting a public middle and high school in the poorest congressional district in the US, and enjoys experiencing travel and cultures different from his own. He also holds FINRA Series 7 license and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation.
