Brian built his team with the aim of providing individuals and businesses with the same high-quality wealth management he would expect to receive as a client. He believes that this commitment to excellence, together with his integrity, collaborative approach and dedicated work ethic, are among the reasons that some clients have chosen to remain with him for more than two decades and that a number of his relationships span three generations. After graduating from Wayne State University, Brian became a successful small business owner at the age of twenty. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1995 and in 2017 made the move to UBS Financial and today helps advise families as they pursue their financial goals and aspirations.
Brian is also a Portfolio Manager in the Portfolio Program who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, UBS Model Portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firms Portfolio Management Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage his strategies on a discretionary basis.
Brian and his wife reside in Rochester Hills with their seven children. Brian enjoys golf, boating, and traveling.
Jon has been with UBS for 18 years since graduating from Western Michigan University, where he received his B.A. in Business Administration. After completing advanced studies, he received his Wealth Advisor designation. Jon enjoys water skiing and is a collector of fine wines. He and his wife, Erin, live in Orchard Lake and they have three sons.
Adam has been in the financial services industry for 13 years and joined BLS Financial Partners in 2011. He has a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University. Adam and his wife, Cindy, have two daughters, Charlotte and Lillian. He is an avid golfer and is a member of Edgewood Country Club in Commerce.
Mark is a 22-year veteran of the financial services industry. Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Mark was a senior executive with a major Detroit–based company. After completing advanced study, he received the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
Mark has a M.B.A. and a B.A. from Michigan State University. Active in the community, Mark serves on the boards of Huron Valley Sinai Hospital and the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. He is an avid boater and golfer and is a member of Edgewood Country Club in Commerce.

Mark began his career in one of the equity market’s most tumultuous years on record—and over the past 30 years he has helped clients manage their wealth throughout good times and bad. Mark joined UBS in 2006 after 20 years at Smith Barney-Citigroup. With his clients, he emphasizes asset allocation and total portfolio management with a focus on retirement income planning; Mark also helps them with education funding, structures for charitable giving and estate planning. Mark is FINRA registered and hold Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities.
Mark's focus is on the community he lives in is exemplified by the time he volunteers with the Birmingham Rotary Club. His major passions outside of UBS are his seven children, reading, golf and travel.
Wayne joined UBS in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has an extensive background working with high net worth families and private business owners.
Wayne holds a degree in Economics from Western Michigan University. He and his wife Diane live in Grosse Pointe Woods with their three children. When he's not in the office you can usually find Wayne coaching, watching or volunteering in youth baseball.
John joined BLS Financial Partners on September 1, 2021. He most recently was the Market Head of UBS Michigan, with the responsibility for the offices across the state. John brings nearly 40 years of industry experience, talent and commitment to each of our client relationships and will be a valuable addition to BLS Financial Partners. John graduated from Michigan State University. He and his wife, Julie, enjoy spending time with their three sons and seven grandchildren. John also volunteers with Care House of Oakland County and Venture for America.
Dave is a 38-year veteran of the financial services industry and the founding partner of BLS Financial Partners. At UBS, Dave is a member of UBS’s Chairman’s Council, a select group of the firm’s most distinguished Advisors.
Dave spent 22 years at Merrill Lynch before joining UBS in 2005. Dave earned both his M.B.A. in Finance and B.A. from Michigan State University. He is active in his community and works closely with Dr. Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic, Michigan Animal Welfare Foundation and Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. He is an avid bowler and golfer.
Dan joined the BLS Financial Partners in 2018 just shortly after graduating from Ole Miss with a B.A. in both Managerial Finance and Real Estate. He is an avid golfer, snowboarder, and hopes to live long enough to one day see the Detroit Lions win a Super Bowl.
Lisa previously worked in the education sector, serving 25 years as an Administrative Assistant at Academy of the Sacred Heart. Lisa strives to deliver a client experience that consistently exceeds expectations. Her warm personality and excellent organization skills enhance her ability to quickly and efficiently respond to our client's needs and requests.
Lisa is married and has three children. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling, running, swimming and horseback riding.

Renee began her career in the financial services industry in 1991. She began working for PaineWebber as a Client Service Assistant where she worked closely with clients, coordinating requests and paperwork. She later seized an opportunity to join RBC Dain Rauscher (now RBC Wealth Management) in Washington State as a Client Service Assistant. There she played a leadership role supporting several Financial Advisors, assisting with account services and serving clients on a broader scale. She later returned to Michigan and rejoined UBS/PaineWebber. Back home at UBS, Renee was offered a unique position playing a back-office administrational role in addition to servicing clients at our Birmingham branch. This portfolio of experience has provided Renee with valuable insight on how to effectively navigate systems and efficiently support the needs of our clients.
Commitment to community:
Renee loves animals, routinely watching and fostering dogs that need a temporary home. She is also a frequent blood plasma donor and supports related initiatives for the critically sick.
Renee has two children, Damien and Dylan. Damien lives in San Diego and Dylan is finishing his senior year of high school. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, snow skiing, cooking, gardening and exercising.
Tricia joined BLS Financial Partners in 2014 and has been in the financial services industry for 26 years. After earning her B.A. in Economics from University of Michigan, Tricia gathered significant experience in the financial services industry including being promoted to Operations Manager. Tricia is dedicated to understanding clients' needs and thrives on developing client relationships. Tricia also enjoys volunteering in the community especially with Michigan Animal Welfare Foundation and St. Patrick Church. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, Up North and they have two sons. Tricia holds her Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66 securities licenses and is a licensed notary public. Tricia is looking forward to the rematch for Michigan to win the Paul Bunyan Trophy this year.
Kristen started working at UBS in 2008 and joined BLS Financial Partners in 2020. Kristen is passionate about building great relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
With over 23 years of industry experience, Kristen specializes in account administration and processing estate settlements. Prior to joining UBS, Kristen started her financial career at EVEREN Securities in 1997 as a wire operator. She was later promoted to client service associate and operations manager. She holds Series 7, 8, 63, 65 and is insurance licensed. Kristen earned her Associates degree from Macomb Community College.
Kristen enjoys relaxing Up North with her husband and rescue dog. She also has a son in the Air Force and two grandchildren. Outside of the office, Kristen volunteers for Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers and searches for treasures while antiquing.
