David provides personalized asset and liability management for individuals and assists organizations with the establishment, implementation and oversight of their retirement plans. He employs a full wealth management planning structure in order to address clients’ financial goals. David attributes his success to his background in education. He currently manages approximately $300 million in assets for his clients.
David is very involved in the community and is active with coaching sports at the youth level. David and his wife live in Atlanta with their two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing and golf.
For over 19 years, Julie Bailey has worked at some of the top global investment firms including Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and now UBS. Julie focuses on financial strategies to help build and protect wealth while seeking to reduce tax consequences. She provides meaningful retirement advice for individuals, business executives and their families. Julie specializes in working with clients who are going through significant transitions such as divorce, death of a family member, sale of a business, or retirement. Julie performs family office services for her C-suite clientele.
Early in her career, Julie was the head trader and client service manager for an ultra-affluent team managing nearly $1 Billion in assets at Credit Suisse. She ran stock option programs, constructed 10B5-1 plans for top executives, and ran the directed share program for several IPO’s including an international pharmaceutical corporation and a defense technology provider.
Her experience in portfolio construction and execution harmonizes well with UBS's world-class analysis and innovation. Julie is a part of the UBS's Portfolio Management Program which allows a select group of UBS Financial Advisors qualified by the firm, based on training, experience and commitment, to independently manage client assets. Julie also holds the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR™ designation in addition to the Series 7, Series 66, and Series 31. Julie is also insurance licensed.
Julie serves as President of the Buckhead Business Association, running the 25+ person board as well as the activities of the 70 year old organization including the Taste of Buckhead. In addition, she sits as ex-officio on the prestigious Buckhead Coalition, comprised of the top 100 CEOs and business leaders in Buckhead. She is passionate about engaging women in the workplace and for the last 5 years created, formed and now runs an internet-based platform for over 1,000 working mothers in the Atlanta area. For over 3 years, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Children's Shelter seeking to end homelessness and provide childcare for homeless families.
Julie graduated summa cum laude with a B.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Investments from East Tennessee State University where she received numerous academic accolades. She continued post-graduate work at the University of London in London, England. She has served as a MoneyWise mentor for Buckhead Church where she is an active member. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and business partner, Jansen Bailey and their 3 children (2 school aged- The Westminster School; 1 toddler).
Jansen T. Bailey, CRPS®, CRPC® is a financial advisor with UBS serving both corporate and personal wealth clients. Jansen has worked at top financial firms including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and now UBS where he joined the firm in January 2014. Jansen works with several of UBS's teams as an endowment and foundation consultant and retirement plan expert.
Taking a hands-on approach, he assists his non-profit and corporate clients with the evaluation of their plans to help ensure they are meeting their fiduciary requirements, are competitively priced, properly structured, and most importantly accomplishing the goals of the organization and participants. He also conducts employee education meetings and one-on-one meetings with participants. Once entrenched as the consultant on the plan, Jansen also provides wealth management services for the owners and executives.
Jansen’s services extend to his personal wealth clients as well. Jansen also holds the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR (SM) designation. He focuses on providing comprehensive retirement planning to his personal wealth clients who are approaching or currently in retirement. His comprehensive services include pension maximization strategies, in-depth asset allocations and investment reviews, lending services, insurance policies as well as trust and estate planning strategies. Jansen works with his client’s CPA, personal tax advisor, estate attorneys and other professionals to help ensure his clients receive a customized retirement plan.
Raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Jansen graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina with a degree in Finance. He and his wife, Julie, reside in Atlanta with their 3 children. Jansen serves on the board of the Georgia Transplant Foundation. Jansen enjoys golfing and fishing.
Sarah is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner. This designation is a two year process which assists her in working with clients on multi-generational financial planning with a focus on family owned businesses. Her practice includes analysis of retirement income planning, education funding, charitable giving and estate planning. Sarah’s previous career in business development affords her a unique perspective in counseling clients and integrating the team’s discretionary custom client allocations into holistic financial plans.
Sarah is the current Chair of the Coles College Advisory Board and Chair of the Executive Committee for the Coles College of Business Advisory Board at Kennesaw State University. She served as the only non-faculty member to establish the Coles Scholars Program. This program recognizes the best and brightest of its students providing custom developed courses within a cohort program. Sarah is closely aligned with the Cox Family Enterprise Center, a leader in the Southeast regarding family business transitions. Under her guidance, UBS Financial Services Inc, has partnered with the Cox Family Business Center providing clients with the exceptional resources available through this center.
In December 2014, Sarah Boone was named an honorary member of Beta Gamma Sigma from Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society which provides the highest recognition a business student can receive from undergraduate or graduate work.
An advocate for women and entrepreneurs, she is a founding member of the UBS Atlanta strategy board for "All Bar None," a program within UBS which promotes women in finance. Sarah additionally serves as a member of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) Legacy Advisors Board. Nominated by her peers this select group of leaders in finance, legal and accounting work to increase funding for pediatric health and CHOA projects.
Gabi Picarella has been working at UBS for 4 years, first as an intern and then eventually as a Client Service Associate. Although originally from Massachusetts, Gabi moved to Atlanta in 2014 to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2018 she graduated, receiving a Bachelor's degree with High Honors with a Finance concentration and a Business Analytics Certificate.
Since starting at UBS, Gabi received her Series 7 and 66 licenses. She also has her Life, Health and Variable Product insurance licenses. Gabi is a designated Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM and a Financial Paraplanner Qualified ProfessionalTM.
With her free time, Gabi likes to exercise, do yoga and travel as much as possible. She and her fiance are currently living in Midtown, Atlanta, with their two cats.
