Alex Martinelli has advised hundreds of successful business owners and entrepreneurs, drawing on his experience in the fields of corporate and executive services. Over two decades, Alex has created a unique service model that benefits significant shareholders of public and privately held companies. Alex began his career in 1996 with UBS Financial Services (UBS). He joined Credit Suisse in 2008 before returning to UBS in 2015. Following his lifelong passion for knowledge, Alex completed all the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner™ in 2012. This included two years of coursework at Merrimack College followed by a rigorous 10-hour board approved examination. Alex has been named to Forbes Magazine's list of America's Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Outside the office, Alex combines competition and charity as a triathlete. In 2007 he competed in the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championship, and he is a three-time Honorable Mention All-American in the sport. Alex raises money for cancer research as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. In addition, Alex supports science, technology and education through his sponsorship of the SEE Science Center in Manchester, N.H., N.H. High Tech Council as well as Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA.
Alex graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He lives in Andover, Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters.

Cody McCallum is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, who believes that effective wealth management starts with a comprehensive, holistic plan that incorporates a client’s values, priorities and goals. Cody primarily focuses on business development and portfolio management within Martinelli Wealth Management Group. He works closely with each member of the team to grow the practice, while continuing to provide comprehensive financial planning and tailored investment management solutions for his clients.
Prior to joining Martinelli Wealth Management Group in 2021, Cody was a Wealth Planning Associate with UBS for three years, leading the financial planning for the Greater New England Market's high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. He began his financial services career with Putnam Investments. Cody obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation through the CFP Board and the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ designation through the College for Financial Planning. He holds series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities.
Cody obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics and entrepreneurial leadership studies from Tufts University. He was captain of the varsity baseball team and now serves on the Tufts Baseball Alumni Council, which provides oversight and facilitates fundraising efforts for baseball-related projects at the university.
Originally from New Jersey, Cody has been a Boston resident ever since graduating college. He currently lives in the Seaport of Boston with his fiancé, Hannah, and their French bulldog, Eleanor. Cody and Hannah support Jhamtse International, which provides a loving home and learning community for orphaned, abandoned and at-risk children in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, in the mountains of northeastern India. When he’s not working, Cody enjoys playing poker, pool or golf, attending sporting events and visiting family and friends.
Karen Carlin is a well-respected financial planner who works with high net worth individuals to address their estate planning and succession planning needs. With twenty years of experience, Karen works with families and their advisors to make sure that their financial goals are met.
Karen is meticulous in her planning in order to ensure that her clients’ financial assets are protected through savvy risk management techniques and careful positioning. She frequently adjusts plans to account for market dynamics, and maintains on-going communication with her clients to ensure that their financial plan is always tailored to their current goals and ambitions.
Karen became a Certified Financial Planner™ in 1996 following extensive training and testing. She is a graduate of Boston University where she majored in business and finance.
Karen lives north of Boston. with her husband and daughter. She is a dedicated runner, and raises money for charities including the YMCA, American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross.
Maria Aliferis has been delivering outstanding client service for nearly two decades and has worked closely with Alex Martinelli for fifteen years. Maria is well suited for delivering top results in the global economy, having studied international relations and business at Boston University. She also continued her education through programs at the world's top investment companies.
Maria works with our clients to anticipate their financial needs and facilitate them keeps her at the forefront of the market. She is experienced at leveraging operations in order to generate solutions for her clients, and her attention to details and efficient delivery of service set her apart.
Maria lives in Sudbury, Mass. with her husband and two sons. She is an advocate for Breast Cancer awareness, after losing her mother-in-law to the disease. She is also an organizer for Toys for Tots, which aims to make the holidays brighter for children in need.
Mariana Ali has provided support to financial planners and their clients for more than 15 years. As a senior registered client associate, Mariana supports the day-to-day operations of Martinelli Wealth Management, fulfilling client requests, ensuring legal compliance and overseeing the administration of the team. Mariana enjoys getting to know clients and helping to facilitate the growth of a flourishing team of advisors.
Mariana has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Curry College in Milton. She lives in Canton with her husband, son and daughter. In her free time, Mariana enjoys yoga and her daily walks with her Australian labradoodle, Phoenix.
