Ed McDevitt has over 25 years of investment experience working with institutions and individuals. Ed uses his experience to provide financial planning and sophisticated investment solutions to select individuals, families and institutions. This is done with a high standard for service and investment knowledge.
Prior to UBS Ed worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Ed began his career on the Institutional side of the industry. He was the head trader at Alson Capital, a $3 billion long-short equity hedge fund. At Alson, in addition to his duties as head trader, he sat on the investment committee and was responsible for risk management.
Prior to Alson Capital Mr. McDevitt worked at Goldman Sachs in the Institutional Equities Division where he advised hedge funds, pension funds and money managers on their investment strategies. Ed began his career at Alex Brown and Sons in the private client division.
Mr. McDevitt holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College. Ed serves on the Board of Trustees at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and The Rock School. Ed was an avid triathlete. He won his age group in multiple Ironman competitions and qualified for the Hawaii Ironman World Championship nine times.
Ed relocated back to the Philadelphia area, where he grew up, from Boulder Colorado in 2018 with his wife Isabel and two children Sophie and Charlton.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English, and serving in the United States Army in Southeast Asia, Tim started his financial services career with White, Weld & Co. in Philadelphia, PA as an institutional fixed–income specialist.
In 1978 Tim joined Kidder, Peabody & Co., and in 1980 was asked to come to New York to continue in sales. In 1985 he was appointed the Director of Unit Investment Trust Department, creating the first high yield UIT. In 1987, Tim co-founded KP High Yield Asset Management, which structured the first Collateralized Bond Obligations – the Institutional Investors Deal of the Year. Moving to KP Asset Management, he structured and marketed the first US Dollar denominated off-shore money fund. He later was promoted to be the senior portfolio manager of all of Kidder's Municipal Bond Funds and separately managed accounts, with assets under management in excess of $1 Billion.
In 1993, Tim was recruited by Legg Mason in Baltimore, Maryland to be the National Institutional Fixed Income Sales Manager. After a substantial acquisition, he successfully integrated the two sales forces, and recruited and supervised sales personnel in multiple trading locations.
He returned to New York to the recently merged firm of Paine Webber- Kidder Peabody as a National Corporate Relationship manager, selling corporate services to Fortune 500 Companies. When UBS bought PW-KP, Tim was fortunate enough to be able to return to Philadelphia to work with money managers and family offices in the area.
Since returning to Philadelphia, Tim has been an active participant in for, and not-for profit Boards. He served as Treasurer of American Insight from 2004 – 2009, The Samuel Fleisher Art Memorial as Trustee and Vice President from 2004 – 2013, and Treasurer of The Stoneleigh Foundation from 2010 – 2017. He currently serves on the First Hospital Foundation board, Hungerford & Terry board, and is President of the Ardnamurchan Club.
Peter is one of a small number of UBS Financial Advisors who have earned the Designation of "Wealth Advisor." As a Wealth Advisor, Peter is eminently qualified to provide highly personalized wealth management services to his clients. Peter began his career in financial services in 1987 as a Financial Advisor with the firm in Fairfield, Connecticut. He has served in various capacities including 26 years as Branch Manager and Director of the Vero Beach Florida and the Boulder Colorado offices. A graduate of Boston University's School of Management, Peter earned a B.S. in Business Administration.
Lori has over 20 years of experience in financial and client services, including four years at UBS Switzerland. Prior to joining UBS Vero Beach, she worked at Deutsche Bank and UBS Private Banking as the Chief Information Officer. She enjoys applying her executive management skills to address the needs of her clients. A graduate from University of Wisconsin-Stout, Lori earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Her M.B.A. is from the Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands.
Her love for the community is shown by her active involvement in the Vero Beach Art Museum and Impact100 Women’s Philanthropic organization. She loves to contribute her analytical skills and financial acumen to make Vero Beach a better place for all.
Meredith has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 2008 at UBS in Austin, TX as a Client Service Associate. She later became a part of the management team working as the Complex Risk Analyst before becoming the Market Supervisory Officer for the Central Texas Market Area where she managed compliance across eight UBS branch offices. In 2017, Meredith moved to Colorado and joined the UBS Boulder office as a financial advisor.
Meredith's background in management contributes to the team's insight on how to run an effective business. She has considerable knowledge in compliance and business risk, as well as managing processes and communication.
Meredith holds the Chartered SRI Counselor bringing specific knowledge to clients around current trends and best practices related to sustainable, responsible and impact investing.
Meredith grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where she received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Meredith lives in the Boulder area with her husband Chris and their three girls, Sinclair, Katherine and Paige. Meredith currently serves on the Development Committee for the Community Foundation of Boulder County.
Pieter began working at UBS in 2010 during his sophomore year at Villanova University as a wealth management intern, a position he kept throughout his college career.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2012, he became a senior mortgage consultant at New Penn Financial where he worked with individuals, families, and brokers in assisting them secure mortgage loans.
Pieter returned to UBS in a full-time capacity in 2015. He has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and serves as an excellent resource for clients looking to address any financial planning needs. He is committed to providing clients with personalized attention and understands that every client touchpoint is an opportunity to provide an exceptional experience.
Pieter has an eclectic range of interests that include sustainable investing, artificial intelligence, hiking and biking. He gives back to the Philadelphia community by volunteering for CHOP (The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) and serving at MANNA Soup Kitchen.
Pieter resides in Wayne, PA with his wife Kimberly and daughter Natalie.

Joyce ensures that all client instructions are carried out in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Christine has worked for UBS in the Vero Beach office since 1996. Originally from Miami, Florida, she began her career in the brokerage business in 1987 with First Equity Corporation of Florida as the Executive Assistant to the president of the firm. With well over 20 years in the industry, her focus is in client services, including account administrative and operational issues, problem-solving, and expediting the clients day-to-day needs. Chris resides in Sebastian with her husband, John, and three children, Sean, Caitlin and Ashley.
