At The Liberty Group, we have deep roots in West Texas and an active involvement in the Midland community. We focus on comprehensive wealth management to help make sure you’re positioned to accomplish what’s most important to you. Backed by the extensive resources of UBS, we offer integrated financial solutions focused entirely on you, your family and your business.
Many of our clients are business owners and executives in the oil, gas and mineral sectors who have very specific financial needs and challenges. Working together, we can help you create a comprehensive plan that includes your business growth and transition goals. Our dedicated approach to wealth management can help you explore opportunities to grow and preserve what you have built.
Our mission is to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. Our goal is to be your primary source of financial advice. To this end, we concentrate our efforts on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
It takes a dedicated Advisor with deep experience to help deliver the kind of exceptional service and insights that local business owners and their families require. For 25 years, Greg has been building lasting relationships with a wide array of local clients, including independent oil and gas producers, land and mineral owners, oil field service company owners and executives and retirees of oil and gas companies.
Having been reared on his family’s West Texas ranch, Greg worked in banking and commercial real estate prior to becoming a Financial Advisor. Drawing from his professional and family background, he is well-positioned to show you how important assets like land and mineral holdings can fit into your overall financial plan. Greg brings special care and personal attention to his clients, helping with all aspects of wealth management, including estate and trust strategies, retirement income planning, tax-minimization solutions, insurance and private banking. Clients rely on Greg’s ability to clearly articulate solutions to their complex issues, whether that involves comprehensive post-liquidity planning, wealth transfer or philanthropic pursuits.
Having joined UBS in 2000, Greg is the Midland Texas Branch Manager, overseeing the local office staff. He collaborates extensively with CPAs, attorneys and other trusted advisors to help bring comprehensive services to clients. In addition, Greg and the team manage 18 nonprofit and foundation funds and he is involved in advising and supporting their boards.
Outside the office, Greg is active with his church. Hailing from West Texas, he and his wife, Apryl, have two children, Chesley and Stella. Greg enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, golf, running and hunting.
