    What he does

    Dan draws on over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to provide advice and  leadership across a variety of complex financial topics. He oversees strategic wealth planning designed to offer solutions for each area of a client’s needs: financial and estate planning strategies, portfolio management, business and succession planning, credit and lending, insurance and charitable giving.

    Who he serves

    Business owners, entrepreneurs, and families have turned to him for financial planning and insight. Dan advises a highly concentrated number of families and businesses that focus primarily on planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, tax minimization, growth and preservation of capital.

    Outside the office

    Dan is active in various local and national non-profit organizations and currently sits on the board of the New England Chapter of the Anti-Defamation League as well as the New England and National Councils of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

    Dan is a mentor in the American Corporate Partners program that connects post-9/11 veterans (Protégés) with corporate professionals (Mentors) for customized mentorships.  ACP assists veterans on their path towards fulfilling, long-term careers, whether the veteran is job searching or newly employed.

    Dan has participated as a rider in the Pan Mass Challenge for the past twelve years and has raised over $90,000 for cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center. 

    In June of 2009, Dan was presented with the Krupp Leadership Award by the Anti-Defamation League. This award is given to community members who demonstrate outstanding dedication and leadership on behalf of the ADL. In May of 2005, Dan was presented with the Esther Leah Ritz Emerging Leaders Award by the Jewish Community Centers of America. 

    Dan lives in Newton with his fiance Jamie, and his kids Josh, Max, Isla and Walter. In his spare time he enjoys biking, fishing in Cape Cod and Alaska, and playing golf.

    Senior Wealth Strategist

    Todd works with ultra-high net worth families, helping them to design and implement wealth strategies that reflect their values and goals.  He helps families and individuals to create multi-generational structures for managing their wealth, fulfilling their philanthropic visions, and optimizing tax effects.  In addition, he reviews their trust agreements and other estate planning documents to ensure that the documents align with their planning objectives. 

    Professional History

    Before joining UBS, Todd was general counsel of Perspecta Trust.  He previously was a partner in Cleveland, Waters and Bass and earlier served as president of Cambridge Trust Company of New Hampshire and a senior vice president of Cambridge Trust Company.  Before that, he practiced trust and tax law with Cleveland, Waters and Bass. 

    Todd is the consulting editor of Private Trust Companies: A Handbook for Advisers (Globe Law and Business, forthcoming 2020).  He also was a principal author of the New Hampshire Family Trust Company Act (which govern private trust companies) and the New Hampshire Foundation Act (which was the first act recognizing civil law-type foundations in the US).

    Todd is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a member of the International Bar Association’s Private Client Tax Committee.

    Todd earned a B.A. in economics and history from Georgetown University, a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and an LL.M. (Taxation) from the University of Florida.

    Roger joined UBS Bank USA in 2016 and he is currently a Senior Wealth Management Banker covering the Greater Boston and Northern New England Markets.

    Roger has an extensive background in relationship banking. He is focused on providing Financial Advisors and their clients a variety of cash management resources along with banking solutions that may complement their overall wealth management objectives. 

    Professional history

    Roger began his career with UBS in 2006, first as a Client Service Associate in Wealth Management NY, then Private Wealth NY.  In 2009, his team moved to Credit Suisse, and in 2010, Roger moved on his own to JPMorgan Private Bank and started a career as an Financial Advisor in their Law Firms Group, working with top lawyers and law firms in New York.

    In Roger’s role as a Senior Wealth Management Banker his NMLS # is 821627. He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and has a degree in English Literature and Performance.  He enjoyed a 15+ year career as a professional actor in New York City and nationally before starting his career in finance.  He currently lives in Boston's historic South End.

    Professional history
    As a Senior Strategist with Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services, Julie works with families on understanding money, values and philanthropic intent in the family wealth context and the dynamic overlap of five types of capital—human capital, intellectual capital, social capital, foundational capital, and financial capital. Family and Philanthropy Advisory is a thought partner to advisors and their exceptional client families on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy as families seek guidance on cohesive dialogue between generations to perpetuate their legacy.

    Prior to joining UBS Financial Services in 2018, Julie was with Foundation Source, a provider of comprehensive support services for private foundations for nearly a decade. While there, she was responsible for understanding the needs and identifying philanthropic solutions for ultra-high net worth clients and the Private Wealth Advisors who serve them. Julie worked with hundreds of clients to think about the impact of their philanthropy on their families and communities. Before Foundation Source, Julie worked for a boutique consulting firm that specialized in corporate philanthropy, and spent several years in business development for Texas Monthly and New York Magazine.

    Julie graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Marketing and holds a Fellowship in Charitable Estate Planning from the Charitable Estate Planning Institute. She is an active volunteer with many local community organizations, and lives in Stamford, CT with her husband and two sons.

    Professional History
    Leora is an Executive Director and Client Solutions Specialist in the Family Office Solutions team within Private Wealth Management. The Family Office Solutions (FOS) team holistically services $100m+ clients and family offices in partnership with Private Wealth Advisors. In her role, Leora is dedicated to providing clients with superior client service by leading complex, multi-product transactions and helping design custom offerings based on client needs.

    Prior to FOS, Leora was an Executive Director in the Direct Investments Group. She raised private capital for direct private equity and real estate investments across a range of industries, stages, structures and geographies. She covered 1,500+ family office and institutional wealth management relationships nationally. Before that, Leora was a part of the OneBank team and assisted UBS clients on a range of investment banking transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital raising and debt capital raising. She also ran UBS' Middle Market Investment Banking Network, a partnership with 30 firms across the country to assist business owner clients in need of pre-sale planning and investment banking services.

    Leora joined UBS in 2009 as an Investment Banker in the Power & Utilities Group, advising companies on strategic M&A and capital raising transactions, both domestically and cross-border.

    Leora is a CFA Charterholder and is on the Young Leaders committee at the CFA Society of NY. She is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Leora holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut Honors School. She holds her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

    Leora is married, with four sons, and resides in Holmdel, New Jersey.
