Leon Ciobataru brings more than 30 years of experience in global wealth management to UBS, advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including prominent families and business leaders. Throughout his career, Leon has overseen multi-billion-dollar portfolios and delivered strategies in investment management, risk mitigation, and wealth planning.
Before joining UBS International in October 2025, Leon served as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he held senior leadership roles for over a decade. His tenure included guiding client portfolios, shaping investment strategies, and managing complex relationships. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Leon built his foundation at Wells Fargo Advisors and Prudential Securities, gaining deep expertise in both retail and institutional client service.
Leon holds an MBA in Finance and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, with conversational proficiency in Hebrew.
Known for his strategic insight and disciplined approach, he combines global perspective with client-focused solutions.
