Tommy is a true client advocate.  A UBS Financial Advisor since 1999, he has a deep commitment for people and helping protect what matters most to them—their family and their legacy. Tommy primarily works with families on developing multi-generational wealth management plans, coordinating with the family attorney, accountant, risk manager and UBS specialists to deliver a well-aligned and comprehensive strategy for pursuing their most important goals. Those strategies focus specifically on advanced estate planning solutions, as well as planning for retirement, business transition and other significant liquidity events. Tommy also works with a nationwide network of specialized trust companies to deliver custom trust services for the diverse and often complex needs of each family.

Active in the community, Tommy has been a leader on numerous local and regional boards of directors. He is proud to have served as President of the Board of the Florence Crittenton Agency, Treasurer of the Community School of the Arts and Endowment Chairman for St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral–where currently serves as Senior Warden. He has also served on the board of directors of Cherokee Country Club, Young-Williams Animal Shelter, and Sequoyah Elementary Foundation. A proud champion of Knoxville, he is currently forging a multi-year corporate relationship between UBS-Knoxville and the Knoxville Museum of Art. Tommy has also been a class member of Leadership Knoxville 2013.

Travel is a passion, but what Tommy loves best is spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their two daughters, Kathryn and Lauren.

“One of the reasons I love working with clients is to provide in-depth solutions and communication is the key to our long-term success in working together.  Also, from my experience I learned that we are only as good as the person next to us, and this principle has become the foundation of the team we have to support our clients as our key principle.”  - Chris Takonis

Chris is the relationship and banking specialist on the team and works to address complex lending, mortgage, cash management issues using UBS’s banking services.  As the relationship manager for the team he will act as a concierge providing access to the vast amenities offered at UBS.

Prior to joining what is now Clarity Wealth Partners in 2010, Chris served as the Operations Manager for the East Tennessee complex of UBS. Such a position requires an advanced understanding of all systems involved in operating branches for an international financial firm. Before moving to Knoxville in 2003, Chris worked at Goldman Sachs and for British merchant bank, Schroders & Co.
