I started my financial services career in 1986 with Thomson McKinnon Securities, later joining Merrill Lynch, where I focused on business succession and wealth transfer strategies. I joined UBS in 2015.
My practice is focused on helping clients to address their financial needs today and to create a road map toward their future goals, including a legacy for children and grandchildren.
My greatest professional satisfaction is derived from assisting clients in integrating their financial lives so that they can pursue their personal and financial objectives.
As a Portfolio Manager in the UBS Portfolio Management Program (PMP), I manage customized investment strategies and implement proprietary model portfolios, as well as provide traditional advice and guidance to my clients.
I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP), a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and hold the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU) designation.
I earned my bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. I stay active in my community through the Eastland Community Foundation, the Gamma Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma's Gift Fund, and currently sit on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. In addition, I am a member of the Kansas City Estate Planning Society.
I live with my wife Mimi in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and we have two sons, Mike and Alex.
