Jim's career began in 1980 and he has just entered his 40th year as a Registered Investment Advisor. He is currently a Senior Vice President- Wealth Management in our Winter Park office.

Jim has worked with two of his new partners Mitch Schrenk and Ed LeMasters off and on again since he first met Mitch in 1983. He became the youngest managing branch manager for privately held Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1985, and successfully recruited Mitch and Ed to work there in the 1980s.

Jim has been actively managing both equity, fixed income and alternative investments for clients in the accumulation phase, retirement income, and wealth transfer phases of their lives. He believes deeply that investing is a process not an event. As a keen observer and follower of The Federal Reserve Monetary Policy, he helps our clients manage their assets through rising and falling interest rate environments.

Jim was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He later attended Florida State University and was a Member of the National Board of Directors for Seminole Boosters for 6 years.

He and his wife Martha reside in Orlando and together have five grown children, three married, and eight grandchildren. Traveling, racquetball, and family time are how they spend their leisure time.
