As an entrepreneur, you’ve got the grit, perseverance and passion to make it on your own. That means making hard decisions, whether you’re launching a new business, facing the challenges of running one or formulating an exit strategy.
Hardy Wealth Partners works closely with entrepreneurs, serial entrepreneurs and top-level executives—people whose creativity and vision build and run America’s businesses—to help make sure those decisions are the right ones.
We spend time with you, inside your company, learning what gets you going in the morning and what keeps you up at night. Our goal is to help you grow your business as well as pursue your personal financial independence. Whatever your needs, Hardy Wealth Partners is here to help you and your family work toward the quality of life you want.
Our priority is to help enrich the lives of those around us, leaving a wake of lifetime advocates.
Our mission is to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. Our goal is to be your primary source of financial advice. To this end, we concentrate our efforts on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
Before embarking on my financial services career as the new century dawned, I spent several years working for a privately-held industrial company led by a dynamic CEO and management team –which gave me a birds-eye view of the hopes and dreams, challenges and opportunities of a special breed – namely the entrepreneurs who would become the driving focus and passion of our financial business at UBS.
From my days on the client side, to my years at Merrill-Lynch, McDonald Investments and now UBS, I have focused on meeting a need that too often goes unmet in my profession – a need that transcends simply providing routine asset allocation and portfolio management. That’s why; I never begin by focusing on the numbers. Rather I take the time to truly understand their businesses, to learn what gets them going in the morning and, just as importantly, what keeps them up at night.
In so doing, I can secure the insights to help them better pursue both their financial and personal aspirations. I can shape a plan focused on retirement income for them and their employees. I can help them create sustainable structures for educational funding, charitable giving and estate planning. And I can help them access credit to expand their business, purchase a home, or care for a loved one.
I earned my bachelor's degree in business from Bowling Green State University and where I met my wife, Teresa. It was at Bowling Green that I learned the value of giving back having served there in several capacities. I continue that tradition on the boards of the Mayo Society of Cleveland, the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking, the Irish American Charitable Foundation, and Prayers from Maria. My wife and I live in Westlake with our 3 children.
I have spent half my life in financial wealth management, but the first and most important lesson I learned about the business came from watching my dad at work as a young girl: it's all about relationships. What he taught me was a unique ability to foster genuine and meaningful connections. It's been a cornerstone of my professional and personal development, leading me in my current role with Hardy Wealth Partners.
If you have read Sean's bio you know that he spent several years working for a privately-held industrial company; a company my dad managed. He hired Sean out of college so we have known each other for almost 30 years. That connection expanded my world into financial services and set me on a path to work from the ground up, and in the process, discovering how the best businesses in our industry are run. I have held several roles at the firm ranging from client service and planning to compliance and management which make me uniquely positioned to bring both experience and knowledge together as we build our business.
Understanding the families we serve and helping them build their dreams and opportunities in their personal and professional lives is at the core of what we do. Recognizing their vision. Valuing their perspective. Making connections. Focusing on what drives them. What inspires me to serve our clients is witnessing their commitment to serving their families, their business and their community.
I earned my bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University. I am a member of the ASPCA and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I reside in Phoenix, Arizona with Kevin and our dog Murphy.
I believe a great advisor is an advisor who is curious. Why? Because no two people are the same and no two people stay the same. It takes curiosity to better understand each client’s unique priorities, needs and challenges. And it takes understanding to recognize when and how those priorities may change over time.
As a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate, that is what is paramount: Taking a genuine interest in my clients and shaping strong financial outcomes for individuals, families, and businesses alike.
At Hardy Wealth Partners, working in tandem with teammates, colleagues, and clients is what inspires me. Everyone has a unique story to tell- from challenging the status quo, to stories of sacrifice and resilience. I am grateful for the priviledge to build, sustain, and deepen relationships each day.
As a first-generation college graduate & the daughter of an Irish immigrant, hard work, humility and a can-do spirit were instilled in me at an young age. This is why the famous words of George Bernard Shaw resonate with me so personally: “Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” I am passionate about financial planning, education, and empowering clients to know that they can achieve their goals.
A proud graduate of the University of Dayton, I am blessed to help elementary students with financial literacy & economic empowerment as a volunteer with Junior Achievement. I am an Associate Board Member of West Side Catholic Center. And when I’m not working with clients, you might find me traveling, attending a stand-up comedy show, or playing Gin Rummy with family lakeside on Johnson’s Island.
After five years in financial services, I can say with absolute certainty what I love most about this industry -- building relationships with clients and colleagues. Early on in my career, I learned that the most important ingredient in building successful, trusting relationships is active listening. Because listening leads to understanding and understanding leads to solutions that best meet the needs, goals, and desires of our clients.
Whether the client is an individual, a family or a business, my highest priority is providing the highest possible level of service for them. Every day in financial services is different – which means every day is another opportunity to discover new ways to better serve our clients and make a positive impact.
Following graduation from Ohio University (Bachelor of Business Administration), I began my career at Key Bank before coming to UBS in 2019. The oldest of five daughters and proud Irish Catholic, I am grateful for the opportunity to give back by volunteering for organizations such as the Cleveland Metroparks and City Dogs Cleveland. Residing in Cleveland’s vibrant Tremont neighborhood, I enjoy Cleveland sports, spending time with family, and trying out new restaurants around the city.

We provide a wide range of advice and guidance for your specific business concerns, whether you’re in the planning stages for your first company or starting your next one.
Starting a new business. The first steps you take as an entrepreneur can often feel the most daunting. Using our extensive experience, our team can also help you with funding, COIs, organizing documents and making connections for the products or services your company provides. We’ll be happy to introduce you to legal and financial professionals who can help you choose the right structure and accounting systems for your particular business. And, since networking is so critical, we can connect you to other entrepreneurs whose experience may be valuable to you.
Building your company. You’re creating jobs, working hard, realizing your vision. And your business is growing. It’s an exciting, complex time. Our team can help by providing ongoing advice and guidance. We can advise you on setting up the business accounts you’ll need and assist you in accessing credit to expand your business. And, whether you have ten or 100 employees, we’ll implement a defined contribution plan that provides both you and your employees with retirement benefits. Then, we’ll regularly meet with your employees for 401(k) education seminars.
Planning an exit strategy. Our experienced team can help you decide if it’s the most opportune time to monetize your life’s work. With access to UBS’s Investment Bank, as well as our external network, we can help you maximize the value of your business. And we will examine your desired financial objectives and help you understand your options, which can include outright transition to a third party, or to employees via an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), or transferring ownership to a family member.
As a single coordinated team focused on both your personal and professional needs, we keep the big picture of your life uppermost in our minds.
Creating your financial plan. We meet with you and listen carefully as you describe your goals. We then analyze your existing investments and prepare a detailed, long-term financial plan, tailored to your individual situation, that will help you and your family work toward the future you envision.
Investing for every stage of life. We separate assets specific to your current lifestyle from those you’ll be needing in a few years and those you’ll employ to create a legacy for your family. Your custom investment strategy is always designed for sensible growth and income replacement. It takes into account your risk tolerance and is flexible enough to change as your life, or market conditions, change.
Remaining diversified. Many entrepreneurs, understandably, want to funnel all their profits back into their companies. We’ll advise you on the best way to invest money consistently in your personal financial future, so that you remain adequately diversified and your wealth can grow independently of the ups and downs of your business. And if you’ve sold a business, our planning helps properly manage your proceeds with strategies around investment, philanthropy, estates and taxes
Beyond asset allocation and portfolio management, we work to ensure your wealth makes a meaningful difference in your life and the lives of those you love.
Multigenerational education. Our team understands the important connection between wealth and family and is committed to working closely with our clients’ adult-age children. We invite them to our office to help educate them on issues ranging from business succession planning to philanthropic strategies to how a trust works. Whenever possible, our goal is to have family attorneys and accountants at the same meeting in order to ensure that everyone connected with your wealth has the same integrated vision of your generational strategies.
Planning for a long and secure retirement. When you want to retire—or work less—we’ll help you preserve your lifestyle and livelihood through diversified income streams, tax planning, insurance solutions (including life, disability and long-term care) and strategies to mitigate the impact of inflation and taxes.
Giving well—and wisely. We’ll assist you in employing a variety of philanthropic strategies—including donor-advised funds, private foundations and giving assets instead of cash—that have important tax minimization advantages while ensuring what you give has the most impact for good.
Giving back to our community and our world
At Hardy Wealth Partners, we are passionate about giving back to our community, especially to those groups and organizations that have a positive impact on the lives of others. Many advocate for causes ranging from education to environmental to arts and culture.
These include:
Venture for America. As an entrepreneur himself, Sean Hardy understands the role this organization plays in stimulating job growth and creating new opportunities in communities across the country. Sean’s support of the group is focused on helping the next generation of entrepreneurs identify a path to achieve their vision.
The Irish American Archives Society (IAAS). Sean has always taken great pride in his Irish American heritage. That’s why he joined the IAAS—to help ensure that future generations of Irish Americans will always have a link to their ancestors. Sean was a recipient of the foundation’s Walks of Life Award for making an extraordinary contribution to the community.
