Laura’s interest in investing began when she was a young child. She used to watch her grandmother clip municipal bond coupons and enter interest and dividends she received in her ledger. She started working in her family business as soon as she was tall enough to manage a big broom. Later she spent her Saturday mornings doing bookkeeping at her grandfather's building material business in order to earn some extra spending and savings cash. She also spent summers working at a local bank in the customer service and new accounts department. She earned enough to open simple savings and checking account. Since then, her investing has become much more sophisticated. Laura has been in the financial services industry more than 20 years. She is a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 1998 (whoop!) and a graduate of the Mays Business School from which she earned a B.B.A. in Finance.
Laura acquired the CFP designation in 2013. This designation comes with extensive training in financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxes, employee benefits and retirement planning, as well as in the CFP Board's Standards of Professional Conduct, which is rigorously enforced. As a CFP professional, she is required to uphold her certification through continuing education. The CFP certification is the most recognized in the industry for personal financial planning.
Laura and her husband, Jeff, live in College Station with their two children. She is a supporter of Young Life, a mission family currently serving in Spain and her church. She also supports future generations by advocating for financial education and helping TAMU Senior students with their final projects needed to successfully complete their financial planning class.

Jeremy is from the Houston area (Klein) and lived in Waco ten years prior to moving to College Station. He is thankful to live closer to his parents, sisters, nieces, and nephews who all still live around Houston, while still living close enough to Waco to keep up with his community there. Jeremy first became interested in investing when his grandmother gifted him some Apple, Nike, and Fossil stock for his high school graduation – which was better than the wheel of cheese she gave his parents that Christmas – and he’s still holding the Apple stock!
Soon after starting college, Jeremy and his roommate would procrastinate doing their homework by researching which stocks they wanted to buy next and making late night Taco Bell runs. Now he and that roommate talk more about skiing and duck hunting in northern California, plus their culinary preferences have matured too. Since college, his knowledge of different types of investments and ability to strategically invest has grown.
Jeremy has been in the financial investment and banking industry for three years and looks forward to being a member of the Henderson/Dillon Group and serving their clients. Jeremy has a B.B.A. in accounting from Baylor University, including his Series 7, SIE, Series 66, and Life Insurance certifications. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys playing tennis, attempting to golf, spending time with friends, hunting, and being involved in his church’s young adult ministry and volunteering with the youth.
