Private Wealth Management
Am I making the right choices for myself? My family? My company? These are the questions many of our clients ask us as they undergo major change within their lives and businesses. At Generations Private Wealth, we help our clients navigate their wealth during important life transitions, whether personal or professional. For over 20 years, we've guided them through every type of market, often working with second and third generations.
Global access. Local presence.
Accessing the extensive resources and expertise of UBS, one of the world's leading wealth managers, our team brings sophisticated global resources, in-depth knowledge and exceptional understanding to your complex financial world. Whether it's helping you exit your business, evolve your career or manage through loss of a loved one or divorce, we will educate you about your choices and support you with advice and solutions as you pursue those goals.
Together, we’ll help you embrace change, make well-informed decisions and shape your future with confidence and ease.
In our practice, we've found that many business owners and executives take a more transactional rather a planning approach to their exit strategy or their next career move. They are often juggling other business priorities. Importantly, they may not have prepared themselves mentally for taking this major step. Our early involvement in the process can help business owners optimize the value of their future liquidity event and help executives enhance their career success.
Your strategic exit
When you’ve invested so much time, energy and passion into building your business, stepping away from it can be one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever make. With two Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA) on our team, we understand what you may need to exit strategically—and confidently—from your business. We believe we can add value to your strategy as well as insight throughout the decision-making process.
Family business succession
Like any business, family businesses face challenges in planning transitions of ownership and management. In fact, industry experts estimate that about 30% of family businesses remain active through the second generation of ownership and 10% through the third.1 We have the insight and resources to help you weigh each solution—from gifting or selling to family members to strategies that provide you with retirement income and let you transfer the business at a discount, saving estate and gift taxes.

When transitioning your career, it's important to understand the financial implications of your move, keeping the bigger picture of your wealth in view. Having worked with many senior executives as they changed positions and firms, we can help you understand the possible financial impact and opportunities ahead, but also the emotional impact. Our approach focuses on all the details that can affect your long-term financial well-being.
As dedicated financial advocates for women, we've found that it's during life transitions, whether expected or unexpected, when we can truly make a difference in your life. Our straightforward yet compassionate advice can help you manage your planning and investing strategy, make tough decisions about what's next and support you through these changing times.
Separation, divorce, remarriage
We strive to be educators and advocates who can guide you through the legal and financial hurdles many women face during these stressful life transitions. Our goal is to help empower you to make the right choices for your family and your future. From healthcare to insurance planning to estate planning, we’ll access the resources and expertise you need.
Loss of a partner
Adjusting after the death of a partner, whether sudden or anticipated, is an overwhelming task. Understanding that the social changes and financial burdens of losing a partner only add to the emotional toll, our team has taken this journey with many of our clients. We’d like to provide the advice you need to navigate the financial decision-making process as you rebuild and move on to a new “normal.”
Retirement
Retirement means different things to different people. For some it may be a reduced work schedule. For others, it may be a relaxed, simpler life or an opportunity to pursue a passion. Whatever your retirement vision, we’ll help you prepare and plan for it so you can enjoy all you’ve achieved and confidently look forward to the years ahead.
We believe that planning is truly about listening and understanding—particularly during major life changes.
As a team of caring, responsive collaborators, we want to know all we can about your priorities and concerns. From there we can help you develop a plan that can provide direction as you move through this difficult time, and help you define your vision of the future.
Our step-by-step process helps steady the emotional ups and downs of transition as we support you to help simplify the road ahead.
Our mission is to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. Our goal is to be your primary source of financial advice. To this end, we concentrate our efforts on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
