Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Football was the Geesman family business – our way of life. My father and grandfather were each hall of fame coaches, and football helped put me through college. The game endowed a three-generational linkage of leadership, strategy, adaptability, and achievement under pressure and great odds. Specifically, playing quarterback ignited a passion to professionally lead others to a common goal, just as generations before me.
This calling inspired my approach to how I’ve served clients for over 25 years, my Significance Playbook. Being a wealth advisor isn’t a career - it’s my DNA.
I live in Chicago with my wife, Tonya, and two vibrant children. If I’m not on a field coaching my son’s football and baseball teams, or attending my daughter’s recitals, you’ll find us enjoying the restaurant, music and contemporary art scene throughout Chicago. I also enjoy fishing and boating in Michigan and skiing and mountain life in Colorado. My civic involvements include art acquisition as a member of the Collection Committee and Emerge at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and aligning tuition support for children as Director of Corporate and Philanthropic Giving at Friends of Bennett Day School.
