I love serving clients as a financial advisor at UBS, and particularly enjoy helping them plan for and achieve their business goals! It has been wonderful to see clients successfully grow their businesses and complete their commercial real estate projects. Whether they need help with growth strategies or exit planning, I enjoy working with clients to help them as they turn their possibilities into plans of action.  

I work to understand my clients' needs and develop strategies to help them achieve their goals. I often work with clients and their legal and accounting professionals to help identify trust and estate needs and plan for loved ones with special needs.

Previous to my career as a Financial Advisor, I served in the U.S Air Force where I specialized in international affairs. This included service as an advisor to the Joint Chiefs and as a member of interagency committees at the White House, under Presidents Bush and Obama, examining economic and foreign policy impacts of defense priorities.  I continue to stay involved in development issues through service as a local Planning Commissioner for the City of Montpelier,  an appointee to the State of Vermont’s Community Development Board, and a member of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI).

I earned my juris doctor at Georgetown University Law Center and my Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation from the Exit Planning Institute.

I have taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels on economic policy, international affairs and law at Georgetown University, Hamline Law, and Norwich University. I have published extensively, including articles and commentary in The International Lawyer, Michigan Law Review First Impressions and Huffington Post.
