Financial Advisor
Travis embarked on his financial services career with Smith Barney in 1999 and has been managing his practice at UBS since 2005. As a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Manager based in Birmingham, Michigan, Travis brings over 26 years of industry experience. He leads his team as the primary Financial Advisor and business manager, ensuring that his clients' financial dreams and goals become a reality. Travis specializes in financial planning for families of all ages, legacy planning, retirement planning, business succession planning for both small and large enterprises, and endowment planning.
Before becoming a Financial Advisor, Travis managed his family’s retail sporting goods store after his father passed away in 1994. This experience instilled in him a deep understanding of business owners' concerns and needs. Building long-standing client relationships and trust comes naturally to Travis, who is a people person at heart. His clients' trust in his ability to secure their financial futures is the cornerstone of his practice.
A native of Brighton, MI Travis graduated from Detroit Catholic Central and earned a B.B.A. in Business Management from Western Michigan University. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 2008, meeting the rigorous education, examination, and ethics requirements set by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Travis has been recognized as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes Magazine for eight consecutive years, a testament to his excellence in the field.
Beyond his professional life, Travis is deeply committed to his family, community, and church. He resides in South Lyon, MI with his wife, Mina, and their sons, Christopher and Luke. In his spare time, Travis supports various US Veterans organizations and enjoys playing sports, including competitive adult soccer as a goalkeeper. He also has a passion for basketball, golf, and boating with friends and family. When time permits, Travis loves traveling with his wife and exploring new destinations.

Senior Wealth Strategy Associate
Joel is a Wealth Management Analyst, joining UBS full-time in 2012 after an internship with the team in 2011. He holds an additional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™℠ (CRPC®). Previous to joining UBS in his current capacity, Joel graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a BA in both Finance and Accounting.
His focus is on Wealth and Retirement planning, specializing in asset allocation and portfolio management. This array of knowledge allows him to help clients saving for their own goals and retirement, as well as clients who are using their savings through retirement. Joel believes that financial planning is a crucial piece of the investment process no matter what stage of life, providing a fundamental road map towards each person’s individual goals.
Away from the office, Joel and his wife Caroline call Royal Oak their home with their twin daughters. Joel stays active chasing after the twins and the family dog, as well continuing to play hockey recreationally. In addition to a lifelong Red Wings and hockey fan, Joel is a fan of a wide variety of motorsports as well, supporting US teams in international races.
Outside of leisure activities, Joel volunteers much of his time with his church on various community service initiatives such as the monthly community food bank and Macomb County MCREST program.
Client Associate
Olivia began her career at UBS in 2025 as a Client Associate after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Sustainability Leadership. She brings fresh ideas and a collaborative spirit to the team, with a passion for serving others in meaningful ways and ensuring those around her feel supported and cared for.
Outside of work, Olivia is an avid runner who completed her first marathon in 2025 and plans to take on many more in the years ahead. When she’s not on the run, you’ll find her in the kitchen cooking for her family or experimenting with new recipes. Olivia also deeply values her time spent with friends, family, and her two dogs.
