Brad became interested in wealth management at a young age and remembers his uncle always talking about the benefits of owning “great companies for long periods.” Now, Brad observes the positive impact of long-term share ownership for his own clients and their families. As the team’s lead organizer, portfolio manager and relationship manager, Brad oversees most of the team’s discretionary investment portfolios and facilitates wealth transfer strategies.
For more than 26 years, Brad has managed discretionary client portfolios through market cycles, including the tech bubble of 1998 – 2000, the financial crisis of 2007 – 2009 and the COVID-19 pandemic. “Through those periods, I experienced the perception changes and emotional impact that volatility can have on clients,” says Brad, who deploys efficient methods for managing wealth that consider expenses, taxes, cash flow and balance sheet management, including the strategic use of credit.
His primary principle remains “putting ourselves in the client’s shoes.” To him, that means “creating solutions we would want for ourselves and treating clients as we would want to be treated.”

Adam started his career at Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, later joining UBS and holding different positions at the firm throughout the West Coast. He spent time with the firm's municipal bond trading desk during the heart of the "Credit Crunch," and was a resource at the firm's "Regional Consulting Center," with the task of helping financial advisors better serve clientele. After moving back to Seattle, the bulk of his efforts are focused on selectively working with clients to grow, preserve and distribute wealth. In acknowledgement for his accomplishments, Adam was recognized by the firm through an inaugural class of "20 Under 40."

With 34 years of experience as a broker and financial advisor, Deke focuses on portfolio management and customized investment strategies for clients. He enjoys crafting solutions with his fellow team members, who share their deep experience with a variety of client situations and market cycles. “The collaboration among our team members to jointly reach a strategy and prescription for client success is incredibly satisfying,” he says.
Deke was quite young when he first became interested in finance. His father was a financial analyst and institutional salesman at a small brokerage and insurance firm. “I had a class in investments and economics at the dinner table almost every night,” he reflects.
After a short stint as a professional tennis teacher out of college, he quickly realized that he wanted to do something that was truly important in people’s lives. Today, he starts each relationship by “treating clients as if they were my own family members.”

Before becoming a financial advisor, Patrick was a professional tennis player. A doubles specialist, he reached the World No. 1 doubles ranking in 1993 and won 38 top-level doubles titles in his career, including mixed doubles champion at the US Open in 1994 and 1996. Previously, Patrick played tennis for UCLA, where he was a three-time All-American and an NCAA doubles champion in 1988.
Today, he leverages this personal experience to help clients, including professional athletes, achieve their financial goals. Whether planning for a comfortable retirement, the efficient transfer of wealth or a legacy for generations to come, Patrick collaborates with clients and leads them through our planning process. Once a plan is in place, he constructs the right asset
allocation to help them pursue their desires. “Successful outcomes,” he says, “require me to be a good listener. I must understand what our clients are looking to achieve and come in with no
assumptions. It sounds so easy, but it is so important.”
While on tour playing tennis professionally, he used his free time to explore his interest in finance. “I wanted to maximize what I had earned and believed at a young age in the power of investing capital,” he says. Upon retiring, he wanted to help those who had accumulated a large amount of wealth achieve their dreams.
Patrick believes that success, whether as a financial advisor or a pro athlete, takes an incredible amount of hard work, discipline and dedication—characteristics that serve his clients well.
