Role: Senior Wealth Strategy Associate

Responsibilities: Primarily covers economic research, investment analysis, portfolio reviews, and wealth planning.

Education: BA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico in 2002. Alumni of Colegio San Ignacio (1998).

Professional History:

Joined UBS in 2005 and became a member of Lopez Wealth Management Group in 2020 as a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate. Before, he was a consultant under the Puerto Rico Consulting Group, with an expertise in analysis of investment strategies, particularly third-party money management, and servicing High Net Worth clients.

His primary objective was to supervise the development and integration of Advisory Programs from a Global Wealth Management perspective into local client portfolios. Since 2003, he spent time between Maryland and Washington DC as a Grants Management Specialist for SAMHSA, a federal agency under the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

He holds industry licenses on a federal level since 2008, including series 7, series 66, and series 65. Locally, he holds insurance and annuity licenses since 2015, including life, health, disability, and variable annuities.

Personal Note: Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is the oldest of 3 brothers. Currently lives in Weston, FL with his wife and 3 children.

Education: Earned a B.A. in Marketing from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico

• Joanna is responsible for leading the team’s client service and administration efforts. She brings a unique perspective to her role. She approaches every relationship with empathy, understanding and a commitment to helping clients move successfully through financial challenges toward their goals.

• Has 22 years of experience in UBS, first as Administrative Assistant and now as Senior Client Service Associate.

  • Before joining UBS in January 2020, Isabella dedicated her time to a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding houses after Hurricane Maria.
  • Isabella's experience include various internships in legal industry, as an associate in the Litigation Department at renowned Law Firm in Puerto Rico and Summer Associate the years prior.
