Matthew L. Foley, CPWA®, CIMA®, CEPA®, joins UBS as a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor. Matt has more than 29 years of industry experience and began his career in financial services with Merrill Lynch in 1996. He serves a select circle of families whose significant wealth creates ongoing and often complex considerations. Matt holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designations. A graduate of Villanova University, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Matt is a board member of Eva’s Village in Paterson, New Jersey, and a former volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corp in Salem, Oregon.
Lawrence M. DeLuise, CFP®, CPWA®, CIMA®, joins UBS as a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor. Larry has more than 27 years of industry experience and began his career in financial services with Merrill Lynch in 1997. He advises a limited number of C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, professional investors and affluent families with multigenerational wealth. After earning his bachelor’s degree in business from Ramapo College, Larry became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certificant, and taught in conjunction with Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designations.
Christopher M. Butler, CEPA®, joins UBS as a Financial Advisor. Chris has worked in the financial services industry since 2009 and joins UBS from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He serves as the primary advisor for the team’s wealth management and wealth planning activities, focused most closely on next-generation and executive-track clients. Chris also manages the team’s Corporate Services platform. Chris graduated from Iona College with a master’s degree in business administration. He holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation from the Exit Planning Institute™.
Jason joined Foley, DeLuise & Associates in 2015 and is responsible for the asset allocation and security selection of the team’s portfolios. He also serves as the chairman of the group’s investment committee and lead research analyst covering global equities, global bonds and alternative investments.
Jason brings more than ten years of investment management experience to Foley, DeLuise & Associates. Prior to joining the team, Jason was Vice President of Global Investment Strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a Portfolio Manager for the Portfolio Construction & Management team, where he was responsible for the Firm’s discretionary portfolios designed for the advisory channel. Before Merrill, Jason was an Equity Research Analyst at Aria Partners, a Portfolio Analyst at State Street Bank & Trust, and an Investment Analyst at Morgan Stanley.
Jason holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance – both from Boston University. He also holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®). In addition, Jason is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Originally from Princeton, Jason lives
today in Jersey City with his wife, Jacqueline and their two sons. Together, they’re very involved in the city’s revitalization efforts and the development of its artist community – serving as active members of the Powerhouse Arts District Neighborhood Association (PADNA). In their free time, Jason and Jacqueline enjoy traveling and snow skiing but most of all, parenthood.
Greg joined UBS after 17 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Foley, DeLuise & Associates, Greg was the CFO of Merrill Private Wealth, International and the Venture Services Group. Previously, Greg held other senior leadership roles in the Merrill COO organization for both Merrill Lynch Wealth Management & Merrill Private Wealth.
Greg brings extensive knowledge and perspective developed from his leadership roles, enabling him to execute on strategy, business development, and operational excellence for Foley, DeLuise & Associates and their clients. Greg is passionate about coaching and is actively involved in various formal and informal mentoring programs, including Villanova University’s School of Business. As the team's business manager, Greg leads the team and their processes to enhance the client experience with the platform of UBS Private Wealth Management and the capabilities of the team. Additionally, Greg works extensively with internal colleagues to further streamline opportunities for collaboration.
Greg and his family reside in Summit, NJ. They enjoy the beach, traveling, soccer, basketball, tennis, rugby, spending time with family and when possible, the opera!
Lori joined UBS after more than 25 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
As the longest-tenured person on the team, Lori leverages her strong connections and knowledge of the firm to achieve results for clients.
In her role as a Senior Registered Client Associate, Lori leads the client service division of the team, encouraging ways to enhance the quality of each client experience. In her capacity, Lori acts as a liaison between clients and the relationship management, wealth planning, and asset management divisions of the team. To that end, Lori is also responsible for coordinating advice, cash flow, account structures, and client-facing reporting both among the team, and back to the client and relationship managers.
Covering primarily financial professionals, business owners and family wealth, Lori’s daily responsibilities include preparing consolidated performance and account allocation reporting, as well as cash-flow analysis that includes stock vesting schedules and capital calls. Working closely with the tax and legal advisors of clients, as well as their trustees, Lori plays an integral role by sharing the consolidated tax reporting, documenting communication among the professional advisors and coordinating all paperwork for entities and account services.
Outside of work, Lori is also a busy mom to her three teenage children, and resides in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Deanna joined UBS after launching her wealth management career at Bank of America in 2001.
Recognized for her organizational leadership and client-centric qualities, prior to joining UBS, Deanna was promoted from personal banker to Vice President, Banking Center Manager at Bank of America’s flagship Rockefeller Center Location.
In 2013, Deanna was invited to join Foley, DeLuise & Associates and Merrill Private Wealth Management. Since then, she has been an integral team member, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience with clients and team, and providing connectivity to firm specialists and services.
In her role as a Senior Registered Client Associate, Deanna personifies the integrated nature of the team to wealth creator, family office. and corporate executive clients. In this role, Deanna concierges some of the most complex services of the team that require extensive knowledge, experience and detailed organizational skills. For example, Deanna handles the team’s over-the-counter derivatives, ISDAs, family philanthropy and 10b-5-1 stock plans. Additionally, Deanna is responsible for ensuring compliance amongst the planning, investment, and service divisions of the team – especially as it relates to Section 16 insider reporting and other issues facing executives.
A graduate of Binghamton University, Deanna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing. Deanna lives in Ramsey, New Jersey with her husband and two young sons.
Linsey joined UBS after 10 years at Merril, bringing organization and high energy to her role with Foley, DeLuise & Associates.
Linsey started her wealth management career in 2014 as the Office Manager for Foley, DeLuise & Associates. In her tenure with the team, Linsey has played multiple roles – from client associate to executive assistant, to digital specialist – and now, rolling all these divergent responsibilities into Team Event Specialist. In this consolidated role, Linsey is best referred to by the team as the “glue that holds everything together.” For clients, she provides administrative support on the platform, manages all new accounts and account maintenance, responds to administrative and operational inquires, and provides concierge services to Family Office clients.
For the team, Linsey’s role involves consolidating monthly business reporting, team travel and event planning. Linsey is also responsible for the team’s client relationship management (CRM) system, as well as client-facing technologies like secure online access and everything digital in the technology driven world we live in.
Prior to embarking on her wealth management career, Linsey worked for an event-planning company that coordinated the manufacture, distribution, and purchase of yachts from around the world from her hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a result of this and her passion for travel, Linsey is a resource and concierge for clients.
Linsey graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. Linsey resides in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and is enjoying being a mom to two young girls.
Emily joined UBS after 9 years at Merrill. Emily began her career with the Foley, DeLuise & Associates as a college intern in 2014. In 2015, Emily joined the group’s Service Team for the wealth management segment of their practice.
In this role, Emily manages all facets of client service related to reporting, banking, estate-settlement, and bill/tax payment services. Emily is also responsible for process implementation and execution when onboarding new clients, as well as servicing existing next generation and wealth management relationships.
As a result of her organizational capabilities for clients, Emily also works within the team as liaison between the Service and Investment Management teams. In this role, she is responsible for tracking client investment strategies, dollar-cost averaging processes and reporting internally within the team.
Emily is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey where she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Emily resides in West Milford, NJ with her family.
