Jim has 36 years of experience providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals, business owners, and their families. Jim and his team provide the following wealth management services: asset and liability management, cash flow and liquidity management, trust and estate planning, insurance planning, and charitable planning. Early in his career, Jim worked as a CPA in the tax department at KPMG. This experience keeps him sensitive to the tax implications of recommended strategies. Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Business degree. He is an avid golfer and college football fan.
John joined UBS in 2000 following his position as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double major in accounting and finance. He has also earned his CFP® (Certified Financial Planner); Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®); and Wealth Advisor designations. In 2014, John earned the title of Senior Portfolio Manager, a designation that recognizes an advanced level of expertise in professional portfolio management. John served as the former Fundraising Chairperson for the Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) and has given his time to the Hope Warming Shelter in Pontiac. John resides in Lake Orion with his wife and two sons. He enjoys golf, fishing and outdoor activities with his family, as well as coaching youth sports such as the Lake Orion Youth Wrestling Club (LOYWC).
Mike has over 37 years of investment management experience and is a leader in the industry, joining UBS in 1987. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oakland University and earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in 2007 from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned the Wealth Advisor designation from UBS in 2008 and his Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation in 2017. Mike has been involved in a number of charitable and fundraising activities within the community, including the Older Person’s Commission of Rochester; Oakland University, Blessings in a Backpack and Leader Dogs For The Blind. Mike resides in Rochester Hills with his wife, daughter and son. He enjoys community and family focused activities including: coaching youth sports programs, golf and classic automobiles. Patty has practiced Wealth Management for over 30 years and has been with UBS since 2009. Patty employs a holistic process to wealth management which begins with helping clients define their life and legacy goals. She then guides them through a planning process that assists with cash flow and liquidity management that gives them peace of mind as they prepare to meet those goals. In addition, she assists clients with asset allocation, portfolio management, risk protection, charitable giving, and the intergenerational transfer of wealth. Patty earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and is an avid MU basketball fan. Patty is Treasurer of Variety Detroit, The Children’s Charity. She enjoys travel, skiing, golf, and boating. Patty raised 2 sons and lives in Bloomfield, MI.
Michael joined UBS in 2020 after his role as a Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. His responsibilities included delivering insights on markets, portfolio construction, & investment alternatives to financial advisors in upstate New York. This position was integral in helping financial advisors develop highly effective investment solutions to meet the financial goals & objectives of their clients.
Michael has earned his CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) designation and is enrolled in the Wealth Manager Development Program at UBS. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University with a double major in finance and supply chain management. Michael enjoys golfing, skiing, music and college basketball.
Ed has over 37 years of experience in the financial industry with a strong background in the securities industry. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oakland University. He joins Double Eagle Wealth Management most recently from Morgan Stanley with an extensive knowledge of brokerage industry regulations and procedures. He is a Senior Registered Client Services Associate. Ed lives in Waterford with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys boating and golfing.
