Life Beyond Work :
Carla is active in the community by serving on the University of Tennessee Chattanooga School of Business Advisory Board and the Parkridge Health System Board of Governors. She and her husband, Jerry Mitchell, enjoy hiking the majestic scenery in the North Carolina mountains. She loves spending time with her three grown kids and pampering her dog Kletus and cat Sambucca.
In the beginning, Rob grew up in an entrepreneurial family engaged in multiple businesses related to retail, real estate, and logistics. He often traveled home on weekends to help with the family development company from State College, PA.
Today, Rob works in a partnership with his sister, Carla dedicated to recognizing the lifelong financial successes of business owner’s and medical professionals. They have worked together for 20 + years. Within the Donina Group, Rob specializes in financial planning and wealth preservation strategies, particularly as it relates to portfolio dynamics, regarding risk/return relationship.

Life Beyond Work:
Rob enjoys time with his wife, Michelle, and his two boys Bobby (14) and Joey (12). He is an avid outdoors man who loves wing-shooting and fly fishing.
Erin is a native of Chattanooga. She left only briefly to attend Middle Tennessee State University. It was during this time that Erin was a summer intern for The Donina Group. She knew that summer that The Donina Group was special in the way the team bonded with clients and the business practice. Erin became part of The Donina Group family in 2005.
Erin values getting to know clients, it is the key to building a strong relationship that makes each of our clients feel like they are part of The Donina Group family. She prides herself on her dedication and efficient problem-solving skills.

Life Beyond Work:
Erin loves to be around her friends and family. Her biggest joy in life is being mom to three amazing children, Lacey, Landon, and Vivian. Along with the kids, her family includes two dogs, Lilly and Zoey. When she is not working or being a “chauffeur” to the kids, Erin enjoys baking scrumptious cakes, running and traveling.
Born and raised in Chattanooga, Julia is a GPS high school graduate and the youngest of Carla’s three children to join the team. Looking for a summer job at age 15, Julia got her career started by collecting phone calls and scheduling appointments for Carla and Rob at Merrill Lynch. She came back as an intern for 5 summers to help the team grow and transition from Merrill Lynch to UBS Financial Services.
Julia’s passion for learning the business continued to grow each summer she came back. She loves the relationship of the team dynamic as well as the understanding the value and variability of the relationships with the clients. As she loves strong family ties, she wants to continue to recognize how to keep the “glue” in place within the family when facilitating the transition of wealth to the rising generation.
Julia wants to pursue evolving her career to connect with family business growth by granting access to benefits with retirement planning. She is seeking to achieve her Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM designation (CRPS®) by 2024.

“A good fence, makes good neighbors.” Julia has finished building a fence at her home in North Chattanooga in hopes to welcome a few fur-babies into her family. She enjoys hiking and water activities in the area and adores regularly maintaining her large perennial garden.
