Time tested experience
Brian is the founding member of DeJoy Wealth Management and a UBS Senior Vice President. Since 1992 Brian has been advising a select group of clients in a range of areas that includes financial planning, asset allocation and investment management. Over his career Brian has guided clients through a Russian debt default, the dot-com bubble and subsequent crash, the Global Financial Crisis and a global pandemic.
As a Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS, Brian creates customized and proprietary investment portfolios which are tailored to clients' needs. When appropriate, clients can leverage Brian's extensive experience in analyzing and implementing private equity, private real estate, private credit and hedge funds to include these asset classes into their portfolios.
Differentiated planning
Brian holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation from the CFP Board and has in depth experience focusing on sophisticated planning for clients with varied planning issues and objectives. During the planning process, he will coordinate when necessary with client's attorneys and tax advisors and will involve the Wealth Planning and Trust Consulting group at UBS.
Brian and the DeJoy Wealth Management team will bring all available resources to bear to help client's structure a well thought out multi-generational plan.
Outside of UBS
Brian received a B.S. from Cornell University with a major in Business Management and Marketing and a minor in Applied Economics. While at Cornell he played four years of varsity soccer. He currently lives in Pittsford, NY with his wife Heather and their three children: Caroline, Emma and Ryan. Brian has coached youth soccer and basketball for many years and is a past Board Member of the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club. He is currently a Board Member of the House of Mercy in Rochester NY where he is also Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
