With a penchant for number crunching and inspiration from a financial planning book, Dave parlayed 15 years of financial analysis on marketing programs for McDonald's into a successful career helping people achieve their financial goals. After 10 years at Merrill Lynch guiding clients through some tumultuous times, Dave joined UBS in 2009 and still enjoys watching the elements of a sound financial plan come to fruition for other successful professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and their families.

Dave's client relationships are based on trust, a deep understanding of client needs, a disciplined ongoing communication process, and a structured but flexible investment approach. Accordingly, Dave is able to help clients properly plan for potentially 30 years in retirement, maintaining rising income and purchasing power and guarding against health risks, so they can be comfortable, independent, and pass a legacy to children, grandchildren, and charitable causes.

A graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in business and economics, Dave earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2004, demonstrating his dedication to the highest level of professionalism in serving clients. Dave also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2005.  Dave has held the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as life, health and long-term care insurance licenses since 1999.

Dave is well known in the Berkshires, having served as the Board Chairman for the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce in 2009, and was on the founding Board for 1Berkshire, now the community's leading economic development organization. Dave is a member of the Berkshire County Estate Planning Council.  Originally from Summit, NJ, Dave lives in Pittsfield with his wife Elizabeth and children Charlotte and William.  Dave coached youth baseball and softball for his kids' teams and still enjoys taking in several New York Mets games each year with the 7Line Army.
