I have been advising institutions, foundations and high net worth families for over 27 and am one of the select advisors who has earned and maintains the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. This designation, which is often required by fiduciaries and sophisticated investors, represents a higher level of training in investment strategies, performance measurement, asset allocation, and money manager selection. Moreover, CIMA® professionals integrate a complex body of investment knowledge, ethically contributing to investment decisions by providing objective advice and guidance. CIMA® is the only credential designed specifically for financial professionals who want to attain a level of competency as an advanced investment consultant. My depth in knowledge of alternative investments is extensive, and I have written articles on the subject as well as on money management for The Houston Business Journal.
Having been honored as a member of UBS's President's Council (achieved by a select small percentage of advisors) for the past several years, I am also one of a small number of UBS Financial Advisors who has earned the designation of Wealth Advisor. As a Wealth Advisor, I am eminently qualified to provide highly personalized wealth management services to my clients.
My added experience in providing institutional coverage to money managers and hedge funds over the years has given me "hands-on" insight into the capital markets, trading, and sophisticated alternative investment strategies - making me uniquely qualified to better understand and screen managers and funds for clients.
