A 23-year veteran of the financial services industry, Daniel Ramer has broad experience in financial planning and analysis, retirement planning, and fixed income markets. He began his career with Ryan Beck in 1992 as a municipal bond specialist. By the time his firm had been acquired by Stifel Financial Corporation in 2007, Dan had gained valuable expertise in regional bank equities, municipal and corporate bonds, annuities and preferred securities. He moved his practice to UBS in 2013.
With a commitment to thorough analysis and a prudent approach to investing, Dan has made retirement income the cornerstone of his practice. By collaborating with clients and their other professional advisors, he helps generate and manage income in retirement and helps reduce the tax impact on his clients’ estates. He has earned the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses and is life and health insurance-licensed in the states of New Jersey, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Massachusetts.
Dan earned a B.A. in economics from Brandeis University. Dan has three children, Talia, Avi and Oren and is active within his synagogue, his children’s school and The Metropolitan New Jersey Jewish Federation, having served on the boards of several agencies. A lifelong Yankees and Giants fan, Dan also enjoys tennis, skiing and reading anything related to the economy and the stock market.
