Sandy has over 30 years of experience helping clients identify and achieve their financial goals. She is directly responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical wealth management strategies. In addition to helping clients build and protect wealth, Sandy ensures that investment strategies complement estate planning strategies. Sandy graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in accounting. She passed the CPA exam with high distinction, and was employed by both predecessor firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She currently serves as a member of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise Finance Council and was Chairman of the Board of the Boise Rescue Mission for the past 20 years. She has served as Chairman of the St. Luke's Health Foundation, as President of the Boise Rescue Mission Foundation, and was a charter member of the Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation. She co-chaired the capital campaign for City Light Home for Women and Children, the Valley Women and Children's Shelter in Nampa, and has served on the Boards of the Thomas Foundation, Immanuel Lutheran Church and Luther Heights Bible Camp. Sandy has appeared on Fox Business News and has been a regular guest on KTVB's It's Your Business program. A native of Idaho, Sandy and her husband live in Boise and have three children.
Bill has over 40 years of experience partnering with clients to help them pursue their financial goals using stock portfolios and other investment strategies. He began his career with Merrill Lynch after receiving his M.B.A. from Indiana University in 1972. Bill worked as a Financial Advisor in Denver Colorado for 20 years, and after being appointed Vice President in 1992, was selected to become a Managing Director, serving in that capacity for 15 years. During that time, he was responsible for 25 offices in Texas, California, Arizona, and Idaho from 1992 to 2008. Bill returned to Boise in 2008 to join the Dalton Bahney Treinen Wealth Management Group and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Boise Rescue Mission. He has a son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter who reside in the East Bay.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Mike addresses major planning areas such as financial planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance planning, and employee benefits planning. Mike also has his Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ designation. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to receive an M.B.A. from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. His M.B.A. program focused on finance, emphasizing such topics as managing portfolio risk and analyzing investments. Mike is on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Catholic Foundation, where he serves on the Investment and Executive Committees. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Opera Idaho as well as on the Board of Directors for Caring Hearts and Hands of Hope, a local non-profit that provides educational support to orphans in Kenya. Mike resides in Boise with his wife, two sons, and daughter. He enjoys spending time in the Idaho outdoors with his family.
Ben partners with clients to help them pursue their financial goals using stock portfolios and other investment strategies. He graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics in 2011, he joined the Dalton Bahney Treinen Wealth Management Group at UBS Financial Services soon thereafter. In 2015, he began serving in the role of financial advisor to clients. In 2018, Ben was promoted to Vice President – Wealth Management. In 2020, Ben was again promoted to Senior Vice President – Wealth Management. Each of those promotions correspond to recognize certain assets under management and revenue production levels for advisors at UBS. Ben and his team currently manage over $1 billion in client assets. Ben currently serves on the board of Caring Hearts and Hands of Hope, a local non-profit helping orphaned children in Kenya receive an education so that they may go on to college. He has also served as President of a local Toastmasters International club and helped establish the Alumni Chapter of the College of Business and Economics at Boise State. Ben and his wife, Jennica, have a daughter and three sons. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and attending Boise State sporting events.
As the team’s Wealth Strategy Associate, Breanna focuses on developing strategies to help clients protect their wealth and reach their financial goals. Breanna graduated from Boise State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with an emphasis in Public Law and Political Philosophy. Breanna holds both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and is currently enrolled in a CFP® Program. Born and raised in Idaho, Breanna has a passion for fishing, painting, and spending time in the mountains with her daughter, Evelyn.
As a Senior Client Service Associate, Jill brings over 18 years of experience in the financial field and is responsible for all facets of client service for The Dalton Bahney Treinen Wealth Management Group. Jill graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in Music for Classical Voice and has performed in various productions from Sacramento to Tampa. Jill holds both her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Jill’s interests include cooking, volunteering with either church or her son’s school, traveling, and enjoying every day with her husband, Christian, and son, Rowan.
