Often described as a “straight shooter” who can and will tell it like it is, Jeff is known for his honesty and genuine concern for his clients’ financial well-being. Like Bryce, Jeff’s life experiences have been a major influence on his more than 20-year career and his passion for empowering people to make good financial decisions. Growing up in a blue-collar family with limited resources taught him the value of hard work and discipline and prepared him to be a stronger business owner and wealth manager.

Within the team, Jeff is primarily responsible for managing the group’s planning and wealth management initiatives. Prior to co-founding Chrysalis Wealth Partners, Jeff was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter. He holds the CIMA® and CEPA® designations. He is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Jeff earned his B.A. in communications from California State University, Northridge.

Outside of work, Jeff sits on the board of Pro Kids First Tee of San Diego and participates in many of the committees within the organization. Pro Kids supports underserved youth by promoting character development, life skills and values through golf. In addition, Jeff founded a leadership program for girls ages 7 -11 within the Adventure Princess Program of the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA. His Bear Nation Leadership Award, a college grant he personally funds, honors its young recipient for demonstrating exceptional leadership in community service.

Jeff and his wife, Samantha, have two daughters, Cambria and Kirra.
