Chris is a senior partner in the Newton Group focused on understanding each client so that the team can tailor their offerings based on individual needs and objectives. Chris uses his extensive fixed income experience in overseeing income strategies, alternative short term cash management strategies and lending needs.
Chris is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and is a graduate of the School of Commerce and Business at the University of Illinois. The CFP® designation provides Chris with the additional expertise he brings to each planning discussion with clients. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor in 2004, he was a long standing member of the Chicago Board of Trade working as a derivative specialist in US Treasury Bonds. Chris uses his past experience to help clients stay disciplined and have confidence in their investment strategy. In volatile markets, separating investment decisions from emotions is critical. It could mean the difference between missing and exceeding clients' long term goals.
Chris lives in the Keowee Key community on beautiful Lake Keowee. He enjoys golf, gardening and slow lake cruises with his wife Kim and their dog, Maddie.
