Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Since 1983, Charles has garnered extensive financial and client services experience and currently serves as Senior Vice President–Wealth Management in the Fort Lauderdale, FL, branch of UBS Financial Services Inc. His mission is to be the primary source for a client’s financial needs. Charles serves the needs of high net worth individuals and families, as well as professionals and businesses. Among his areas of focus are asset management, tax-efficient investing, and retirement and estate planning strategies.
Charles worked for PaineWebber before it was acquired by UBS as a Vice President–Wealth Management. He acted as the co-host of Money Talk, an open forum radio show airing on WFLT-AM and WSBR-AM in the Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, FL, radio markets.
A planning approach
Charles Verner plays a key role with Verner & Gromley Wealth Management, helping to create the financial and estate plans that serve as the cornerstone of their clients’ financial lives. He anchors planning in a deep understanding of what each client wants to accomplish over the near and long term. He works closely with clients to build a comprehensive financial plan and then carefully tracks progress ensuring that the plan remains aligned with their overall goals and objectives over time.

Life
Charles is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Community Foundation of Broward, Lighthouse of Broward County and UJF of Broward County. He formerly served on the Boards of The Tower Forum and The Broward Education Foundation and is a former member of IMPACT, for The Performing Arts Center, in Fort Lauderdale. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling.
