My professional achievements and education
Matt believes in the importance of investing in ongoing education to ensure he can provide the best advice to his clients. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional and has earned the Senior Portfolio Manager designation through the UBS Portfolio Management Program (PMP). Participation in this program is a privilege granted to select Financial Advisors based on their experience and expertise. This allows Matt greater investment flexibility with the ability to manage accounts on a discretionary basis. He graduated with distinction from Eckerd College with a B.A. in Business Management. 

Matt believes it is profoundly important to give back to his community. As an Alumni and former Board Member of Eckerd College’s Alumni Association, he has mentored business students as part of the school’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) program. He also has a passion for music and has served on the boards of and supported both the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation and the St. Petersburg Opera Company. In addition, Matt has served as the Board Chair and a Board Member for Directions for Living, Inc. an organization devoted to providing advocacy and care for children, adults, and families in need of integrated healthcare, social support, safety and hope for the future.

Outside the office
Matt is proud to have been born and raised in the beautiful Tampa Bay area. It is here where he and his wife, Renee, enjoy raising their precious children, Ella and Evan as well as spending time with their beloved dog, Tug. Some of Matt's favorite activities include boating, scuba diving, fishing and paddle boarding. He also likes to indulge in traveling and skiing.

I have dedicated over 21 years to my clients, assisting individuals with their financial needs utilizing a customized wealth management process. Primarily serving retirees, I focus on medical professionals and retirement planning in the pursuit of providing the highest quality of service. Prior to joining UBS in 2007, I spent 13 years with Wachovia and seven months with Smith Barney. I earned a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and currently hold Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as variable annuity, life and health insurance licenses.

Whether it's helping clients buy and sell securities, read and understand their statements, transfer funds, pay bills or just be there to listen, I take pride in my role as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate. Prior to joining UBS, I served in various capacities with such firms as E.F. Hutton, Dean Witter Reynolds, PaineWebber and Wachovia. I hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. I have been married for over 25 years to my husband Matt, and in my spare time, enjoy watching professional sports, particularly baseball, NASCAR, football and hockey.
