Insight and experience for Self-Insurance companies and their owners.
3 Point Legacy Advisors is an experienced team of professionals with an acute focus on the unique needs and challenges of self-insurance companies and business owners. With a combined experience of 181 years, we have provided customized advice to our clients by helping them understand the complexity, challenges and benefits of self-insurance while also managing their assets for income, liquidity and preservation.
Due to the uneven nature of insurance claims, ensuring each self-insurance entity follows an appropriate asset allocation plan is of the utmost importance. Developing the asset allocation begins with gaining a deep understanding of both the retained risks and the goals of the shareholders. We work closely with the entity owner, Board of Directors and Captive Manager to develop an initial investment plan and then adjust and enhance as the entity evolves over time. Our Team has an experienced understanding of the differing roles and requirements for capital, banking funds, reserves, surplus and/or collateral (including 114 trusts).
