With over 40 years of experience, Bob delivers a strong foundation of both empirical and academic knowledge. Lessons learned through multiple market cycles influence every aspect of Bob’s investment ideology.  Among them: emotion is the biggest obstacle to investor success, periodic and painful declines are part of equity investing; diversification is never out of style, and investors should not take on more risk than necessary to fund their goals.  With this in mind, Bob strives for balance when creating tailored financial plans and portfolios for each client.

Bob graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business.  In addition, Bob is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Bob is married to his wife, Britt, and has two children, Mark and Caitlin.
