Nicholas has over 30 years of wealth management experience. Prior to joining UBS he was associated with Morgan Stanley. His area of focus includes portfolio management, estate planning, private equity and fixed income investing of both taxable and tax free bonds. A graduate of Windham College with a BA in Psychology and a Masters degree in counseling from Antioch University, Nicholas has completed the Advanced Account Executive course at Wharton School of Business and holds Series 7, 63, 65, 31 and Life and Health insurance licenses.
In a world of confusing headlines and challenging markets, it takes more than investment guidance to help you move forward with confidence. It takes an understanding of your entire financial life, your hopes and dreams – and a clear road map for getting where you need to go.
As your personal advocate, I provide you with advice that is tailored to your circumstances and priorities. I start with a detailed plan for all you'd like your wealth to achieve. Over time, I adjust your plan as your circumstances change, so you can embrace your financial future with confidence.
I began my financial services career in one of the equity market's most tumultuous months on record-October 1987. I have helped my clients define their goals and manage their wealth through good times and bad for over 25 years. Today I help a select group of client families manage their wealth as we strive together to define, prioritize, and achieve their financial goals. These clients include professionals, corporate executives, business owners and retirees. For many clients I manage discretionary stock portfolios under the Portfolio Management Program. In 2007 I earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College of Financial Planning. I am FINRA-registered and hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, as well as licenses for life, disability, and long term care insurance. I am a past president of the New London Rotary and of the Thames Club. My bachelor's degree in economics from Connecticut College was earned in 1986. I am the principal owner of Spindrift Guitars, a high-end guitar shop in New London, Connecticut. I live in Fort Myers, Florida and Waterford, Connecticut with my wife Donna and daughter Sarah and our dog Mango.

What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
UBS Wealth Way is an approach incorporating Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
A lot has changed since President Trump took office. His administration has initiated policy changes and markets have reacted. The Chief Investment Office (CIO) anticipates further volatility amid tariff concerns but continues to expect gains for the S&P 500 by year-end. A solid US economy and healthy corporate earnings growth should support the rally.
