Earl began his financial advisory career at Legg Mason in 1995 before joining UBS in February of 2000. He is FINRA-registered and hold the Series 7, Series 63, Series 66 designations and a license for life, accident, and health insurance. He also holds a Private Wealth Advisor designation from UBS.
Earl graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts/Marketing from Texas A&M University. Prior to graduating from Episcopal High School, he attended Awty International School which offers both French and American diplomas.
Earl advises ultra-high net worth clients primarily in the Texas chemicals, and oil & gas industries. For most of his career, he has concentrated on developing customized investment solutions in equities, fixed income, and alternative investments while helping his clients meet their short- and long-term financial goals. He developed and has managed his own equity strategy for more than two decades, and continues to adapt his strategies to the ever changing capital markets.
For five generations, Earl's family has contributed to the history of Houston. Notably, his great grandfather was Mayor of Houston from 1918 to 1921. Earl's namesake was an Oil & Gas Attorney who served honorably in World War II on the USS Samuel S. Miles. In addition, his family founded a prominent advertising agency and as well as chain of convenience stores across Texas.
Earl and his wife, Sarah have two children Andersson and Fletcher. Earl and Sarah actively support the Houston Museum of Natural Science, The Houston Zoo, and are members of River Oaks Country Club and Coronado Club, and the San Francisco Fly Casting Club. In addition to spending time with his family, Earl enjoys reading history and geo-politics, as well as fly fishing and hunting.
Jillian joined UBS in May of 2016. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She also holds the CPWA and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designations. Prior to joining UBS, Jillian worked at Hines. Jillian earned a B.A. in international business and management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Oklahoma and a M.B.A. in finance from the University of Houston – Downtown. She most recently completed the CPWA curriculum through Yale School of Management. She is FINRA-registered and holds the Series 7, Series 66, and Series 63 designations as well as a license for life, accident and health insurance.
Jillian and her husband, Josh, live in Bellaire with their twin children, Charlotte and Pierce. Hank, Labrador and duck dog extraordinaire, also claims residence. Jillian is passionate about serving her community. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston and leads a group of volunteers at DePelchin Childrens Center. She was a mentor with Big Brother Big Sisters, where she was matched with her little sister for the past 11 years. When her husband reluctantly agrees, they fosters dogs through several rescue organizations. Jillian enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (South Africa is a favorite), reading, sports, and scuba diving.
Ray has over thirty years of experience in providing comprehensive wealth advisory services. He joined UBS in 2008, after fifteen years at Merrill Lynch. From 1979 to 1992, Ray was a partner in a private consulting firm. He assisted various US companies in real estate analysis and development. He holds a B.A. in architecture from the City College of New York.
Ray and his wife, Kathy, have been residents of Houston for over thirty-six years. While not native Texans, they claim to have "gotten here as fast as they could". Ray enjoys traveling, visiting his son, Jack, in California, walking their rescue pup, Ruthie and sailing. He currently holds the coveted sailors "NOOD Regatta" first place coffee mug.
Kelli has been with UBS since 2006. She holds the Series 7, Series 66 and Texas Life Insurance licenses. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Kelli is responsible for all operational and administrative activities for our team.
Kelli graduated from Texas State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Kelli and her two sons, Cole and Ryan, live in Richmond. Kelli spends most of her free time on the baseball field with her boys.

A lot has changed since President Trump took office. His administration has initiated policy changes and markets have reacted. The Chief Investment Office (CIO) anticipates further volatility amid tariff concerns but continues to expect gains for the S&P 500 by year-end.
